TSFLIP Chapter 667

It seemed the system had malfunctioned. If it wanted to “power down” and go on strike, fine—but Feng Guang was the one stuck suffering for it. No matter how hard she racked her brain, she couldn’t recall any part of the plot where the supporting female character became somebody’s wife. After all, she was supposed to be the prime minister’s daughter, the male lead’s empress.

The man was still waiting for her answer. Feng Guang forced a smile. “So… you’re my husband?”

“Feng Guang, we’ve been married for over a hundred years. Why ask such a question?”

“Over a hundred years???” She immediately touched her face, relieved to find no wrinkles, before letting out a breath of relief.

He gave a low, quiet laugh tinged with loneliness. “It’s no surprise you don’t remember our years together. After all… back then, I wasn’t the man you chose.”

Whoa there, young man—that’s a lot of information to drop at once!

“I, uh…” She gave him an awkward smile. “What if I said I lost my memory? Would you believe me?”

Given the circumstances, it seemed like the only excuse she had.

“Amnesia?” He paused for a beat. “Feng Guang… you don’t remember me at all?”

“I don’t think so…”

Her answer drew a soft sigh from him. His handsome brows seemed dusted with snow, adding a touch of loneliness. The hand on her cheek slid down to her neck. That was when Feng Guang noticed the bandages wrapped there—and the faint sting beneath them. Only then did she realize she was injured.

His gaze darkened, his voice softening with a note of regret. “That day… I never should have agreed to let you go alone to eliminate the rebel demons of Arid Mountain. If I hadn’t, you wouldn’t have been captured, and you wouldn’t have suffered such a grave wound…”

“Huh?” Her eyes went blank. Demons? Extermination missions? Clearly, this was another of those “unscientific” worlds.

Her dazed expression was almost endearing. His lips curved with faint amusement as he took her hand. She instinctively tried to pull away, but he didn’t let go. Instead, he said gently, “Don’t be afraid. I would never harm you. Feng Guang, you are my wife, the person I love most. Even if you’ve forgotten everything, it doesn’t matter. Whatever you want to know, I’ll tell you.”

“T-thanks…” she replied uncomfortably. His words about them being husband and wife still didn’t feel real to her.

Then he began to recount everything. From him, Feng Guang learned his name was Su Fa, a teacher at the Heavenly Academy. As for herself, she was the daughter of the Heavenly Emperor and Empress—the only princess of the heavenly realm. She had once been a student at that very academy, meaning Su Fa had once been her teacher.

Over a century ago, Su Fa and Feng Guang had married, a union that shook all three realms. A student-teacher romance—no matter the time or place—was never something people accepted easily. Yet they had married anyway, and over the years, their bond remained as strong as ever, silencing even their harshest critics.

As for her current predicament, it all began with reports of a rebel demon general appearing in Arid Mountain. Though a princess, Feng Guang was also a warrior, so she personally requested to lead the mission. Unfortunately, she walked right into an ambush and was captured. Su Fa had been the one to rescue her. The wound on her neck came from that demon general’s blade, which had been pressed against her throat in a desperate attempt to use her life as leverage against the heavenly realm.
