“Xixi, are you alright?” Leng Minxing pulled her close, his face filled with worry as he examined her.

His concern warmed her heart, and she shook her head and said, “I’m fine.”

Leng Minxing let out a small sigh of relief but kept his brows tightly furrowed. His gaze hardened as he scanned the onlookers, his voice cold and piercing, as if the tense and careful man with Luo Xi from just moments ago was merely a figment of their imagination. “Who bullied her just now?”

Everyone instinctively took a step back.

This was the woman carrying the next heir of the Leng family.

At these bold words, Luo Xi felt her eyes warm up.

Once inside their room, Leng Minxing sat Luo Xi on the bed and squatted down in front of her, speaking apologetically.

He knew that pregnant women shouldn’t be stressed, and he had inadvertently caused her trouble.
