TSFLIP Chapter 666

“Mission target successfully captured. Current points: twenty-eight.”

Finally, hearing her points rise, Feng Guang was almost moved to tears of joy. She dabbed at the nonexistent tears in her eyes and said, “That was way too hard. System, please don’t ever pull that memory-blocking stunt again. You have no idea—I actually ended up falling for the third male lead!”

Sure, both the second and third male leads were decent guys, but her mission was to win over the second lead, not the third. Picking the wrong guy? How embarrassing. What really ate at her, though, was that she hadn’t even succeeded with the third lead. If she had, there’s no way he would’ve chosen to save the heroine in such a critical moment instead.

The system spoke up: “Host, it’s time to draw your next script.”

“Ugh, you’re so heartless.” Feng Guang shook her head with a sigh. Not that it mattered—the system wasn’t a living being. Expecting compassion from it would’ve been absurd.

She reached out at random and drew a book. The title read The Clueless Little Fairy. From the name alone, it didn’t reveal much besides the heroine’s identity. Feng Guang quietly chose to accept the plot.

The heroine’s name was Liuli, a modern woman who had transmigrated into the heavenly realm—into a glazed lamp, of all things. After years of cultivation, she became an immortal. Cheerful and lively by nature, she couldn’t stand the lonely coldness of the heavens. So, she secretly descended to the mortal world.

There, she met the male lead, Jian An, the ruler of a nation. He was soon to marry the prime minister’s daughter. But on the day of the wedding, during the ancestral rites, Liuli came crashing down from the sky. Not only did she knock out the bride, but her out-of-control magic also turned the wedding into complete chaos.

Instead of being angry, the groom, Jian An, raised his brows with amused interest. He ordered his guards to tie her up and bring her to the imperial study for questioning.

In this world, even mortals practiced various arts, so despite her “immortal” title, Liuli’s pitifully weak powers sometimes couldn’t even best an ordinary human. No wonder she was captured by the male lead. Besides, if he hadn’t caught her, how else would the romance have a chance to develop?

As for the second male lead, he was the emperor’s national teacher, Zhong Ran. Rumor had it his powers reached the heavens themselves. No one in the entire kingdom could rival his mastery of the mystic arts. It was thanks to his guidance that Jian An’s nation grew stronger by the day, edging ever closer to unifying the world.

But then came the twist: both men fell in love with the same woman. And as the saying goes, brotherhood can survive knives to the ribs—but for a woman, those same brothers would gladly stab each other in the back.

Cliché as it was, there was no need for surprise. After absorbing all the plot details, Feng Guang felt no emotional ripple and simply said, “Mission start.”

When she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was the carved ceiling of an antique bed.

Sitting up, she felt a faint ache in her head. Rubbing her temples, she was caught off guard when a female voice shrieked, “Madam is awake!”

A maidservant bolted out of the room.

Madam?

Still confused by that, Feng Guang turned to see a man entering through the doorway. The sight of him made her pause.

He wore a moon-white robe embroidered with subtle patterns, a jade pendant swaying from his sash, cloud-patterned shoes on his feet, and a white jade crown atop his head. His phoenix eyes were slightly tilted yet soft, his thin lips curved in a faint smile. His entire bearing was cold, noble, and elegant—like a figure stepping out of a painting.

He sat on the edge of the bed, his refined hand brushing against Feng Guang’s cheek, eyes filled with a tenderness deep enough to drown in. “My lady, you’re finally awake.”

“You… what did you just call me?”

He hesitated for a heartbeat, then chuckled softly. “Feng Guang, don’t tease. After all these years as husband and wife, have you really forgotten who I am?”

Her eyes darted nervously. In her mind, she asked, System, did you send me to the wrong world? My identity feels way off here.

“Don’t… trust…”

Crackling static filled her head, the pain intensifying. She only caught those four words from the system before it cut off completely, like a breaker tripping. Silence.

“Feng Guang, are you still feeling unwell?”

His worried expression was enough to melt any woman’s heart—but Feng Guang’s instincts screamed that something was terribly, terribly wrong.
