Qingli honestly felt she was being completely fair.

Since Shao Mingxuan wanted to hang out with Su Qiu, she didn’t object. But of course, Wei Xuwei also deserved to go out with some handsome guys; otherwise, wouldn’t that be unfair?

Besides, she’d picked out the guys herself, just to keep her company. After all, they were young and energetic—what if one of them couldn’t keep up with her? She was ten years old, right in the middle of her rowdy stage. Better to have two so they could take turns.

So the next day, when Wei Xuwei and Qingli arrived at the water park and saw two vaguely familiar handsome young men waiting at the entrance, Wei Xuwei immediately pulled her collar tighter, darkened her face, and glared at her daughter.
“Shao Qingli! Was this your doing?”

Qingli blinked innocently.
“Mom, lots of rides are for four people. I just thought it’d be more fun with a bigger group~”

Wei Xuwei ground her teeth, reached over, and pinched her daughter’s chubby little face.
“Next time, don’t you dare pull something like this without telling me first! You hear me?!”

Qingli pouted, big eyes watery and pitiful.
“I know…”

Wei Xuwei sighed.
“All right, how much did you spend this time?”

Qingli grinned.
“Cheaper than last time—forty thousand.”

And that included covering all of their expenses for the day.

Her little stash of savings was starting to run dry; spending didn’t feel as carefree as before. Too bad she was underage and couldn’t secretly play the stock market. Guess she’d just have to ace her next exams with double 100s, then sweet-talk her way into more allowance.

That’s how kids are supposed to be anyway!

When Wei Xuwei heard the number, she actually thought it was a bargain.

Last time had been nearly three hundred thousand! Sure, that was for eight people, but still—completely unnecessary.

While the mother and daughter were talking, the two young men walked over. One naturally took the bag from Wei Xuwei’s hand, while the other held onto Qingli’s small hand, smiling warmly and with a hint of familiarity.
“Long time no see. We thought you’d forgotten all about us, Ali.”

“How could I?” Qingli grabbed the other guy’s hand too.
“C’mon, let’s go change and have some fun!”

Wei Xuwei could only laugh at the sight of the three walking ahead, shaking her head as she followed.

Thankfully, she was always conservative and hadn’t worn anything too revealing, or else she would’ve been embarrassed to even show up.

She and Qingli wore matching mother–daughter swimsuits. The two guys kept it simple—fresh-looking tank tops and swim trunks, handsome faces, and those eight-pack abs gleaming once their clothes were soaked through. Eye candy, for sure.

The four of them walking together drew countless stares, with some people even sneaking photos.

At first, Wei Xuwei felt self-conscious, but with her daughter’s cheerful lead, she gradually relaxed and started enjoying herself too.

The two young men were very well-behaved, never overstepping. Other than the occasional accidental bump, they were basically attentive assistants—chatting, fetching drinks, carrying things, and even helping to piggyback the kid when she got tired.

Qingli was even happier. She didn’t have any ulterior motives—she just thought they were nice to look at. Plus, they’d been trained to be so accommodating that even when she said nothing, the atmosphere felt pleasant.

While they played, Qingli insisted that the three of them take plenty of pictures together.

By noon, they were worn out. Since they didn’t have to wait in line, everything went faster, so after lunch, they headed out to a restaurant for a big meal.

During the meal, Qingli asked them to send her the photos.

She then forwarded them to Wei Xuwei.

But in the middle of sending, she “accidentally” sent one of the group shots to Shao Mingxuan.

Within ten seconds, her phone rang.

Caller ID: Shao Mingxuan.

“Shao Qingli!” Shao Mingxuan growled into the phone, his face dark.
“What did you drag your mom into this time?!”

He was still at home.

After seeing his wife and daughter head out, Shao Mingxuan had been feeling guilty about overstepping the day before, and he’d wanted to tag along. But Qingli had flat-out refused. He’d felt something was off, but hadn’t pushed it.

Who could’ve guessed that while eating lunch and idly scrolling on his phone, he’d suddenly get this kind of message?

He opened it casually—only to see his wife and daughter surrounded by two young, handsome men. And the kicker? Both men were in swimwear. Even though his wife’s swimsuit was modest, those long bare legs and pale arms were still very much on display!

Remembering his daughter’s past antics, he nearly exploded on the spot.

Meanwhile, Qingli was still munching on a crispy, juicy meatball, speaking with her mouth half-full.
“The water park! It’s super fun!”

“…Then what’s the deal with those two guys next to you?” Shao Mingxuan pressed.

He still held out a sliver of hope—maybe his wife had hired random strangers just to mess with him?

Qingli widened her eyes in mock surprise.
“You didn’t recognize them? They’re the same guys who walked us out of Green Shade Club last time! Dad, your memory’s really slipping.”

“???” Shao Mingxuan was completely dumbfounded.

Forgetful, huh? Who would even remember a one-time encounter with someone they didn’t even like?

He was so angry he couldn’t even get the words out. If the day ever came when he really got cheated on, he was sure it would be because of this troublesome daughter of his!

“Pfft…” Wei Xuwei couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

She quickly covered her mouth, cleared her throat after a sip of water, and reminded gently, “Ali, don’t push too far. Be careful, your dad doesn’t get mad and spank you.”

She, of course, understood her daughter’s intention, so she couldn’t bear to scold her. But Shao Mingxuan wasn’t entirely without temper—when it came to matters of infidelity, he could really be provoked.
