“I’m not a child anymore!” This statement ignited her fiery temper. “I’ll be eighteen soon!”

“Are you still not a child?” An Tong looked at her, a faint smile in his eyes.

“You’re not talking about my age; you’re calling me immature!” Feng Guang said through clenched teeth, interpreting his smile correctly.

He beckoned her over. “Come here.”

“What for?” As she asked, she couldn’t help but take a step closer.

“Squat down a bit.”

Feng Guang complied, looking at him in confusion. Then, he tucked a red rose into her hair.

“Indeed, red suits you well.”

Her heart skipped a beat as she asked, dazed, “What do you mean by that?”

“I’m saying you look good.”

She pouted in dissatisfaction. “Is that all?”

“That’s it.” An Tong’s voice was always the most charming.

However, Feng Guang wasn’t satisfied. She firmly believed there was a deeper meaning, so she hesitantly asked, “Do you… like me just a little?”

“Maybe.”

His ambiguous response made the girl pout even more.

“I know you’re neighbors with Mr. An. What is your relationship with him?”
