When Su Tang took the initiative to open the door, the live stream chat exploded with comments:

[First guest brave enough to do this—make her a regular!]
[Our queen is unmatched!]
[OMG, Su Tang is amazing! Beautiful, kind, and fearless!]
[Wow, opening the door herself? Incredible! Unlike someone who fakes being brave for clout… yikes.]

Zheng Yue noticed the comments and frowned. There were so many messages that the ones she typed quickly got buried. It felt almost… orchestrated? Like bots?

She grew anxious but felt helpless as she watched the dark and tense livestream. Qing Li, clearly overwhelmed by fear, couldn’t function properly, and Zheng Yue couldn’t do anything to help.

She hadn’t expected this guest to be Su Tang!

There had been no prior hints, or she would’ve told Qing Li to skip this episode for sure!

Just then, Su Tang opened the door to the second room on camera. The room was pitch black. She appeared nervous but tried to maintain her composure, forcing a smile.

Suddenly, a zombie-like figure emerged, horrifying with its blue-green face, jagged teeth, and claw-like gray nails that swung threateningly toward them. Its deafening roar, amplified as if through a speaker, reverberated through the room:

“ROOOOAAAARRRR!”

Su Tang’s eyes widened in terror, and an ear-piercing scream burst from her throat:
“AAAAAAAHHHH!”

Her legs buckled, and she stumbled backward, only to trip over someone behind her. She fell hard to the ground, her knees stinging with pain. But she didn’t care; she scrambled to her feet and bolted toward the office behind her.

That zombie was terrifying!

Old Xie had pulled strings to get her a spot on the show out of respect for her father, but he hadn’t warned her about what was inside these rooms!

He had promised the level of horror would meet her expectations—but not this level of horror!

The flickering hallway lights and looping monster sounds were already frightening enough. Qing Li had been so scared she could barely move without Meng Ke pushing her along!

But a real zombie lurking in one of the rooms?! That was overkill!

Zheng Yue held her breath as she stared at the monstrous figure. She wanted to look away but found herself paralyzed with fear.

The audience, who had just been praising Su Tang, watched the dramatic turn of events unfold and were collectively bewildered:

[What the heck? We thought she was a queen, but she’s a total disaster?!]
[Oof. Secondhand embarrassment.]

As Su Tang fell, the person behind her took the full brunt of the zombie’s charge. Wei Pingnan screamed and ran without a second thought.

Behind him was Qing Li.

Although Qing Li wasn’t the tallest in the group, both Meng Ke and Xiang Yifei could see what was happening. Their faces turned pale as they stumbled and scrambled to flee. Meng Ke even tried to pull Qing Li along.

But Qing Li avoided her grasp, bit down hard on her tongue to steady herself, and faced the monster, hands raised.

The audience, initially terrified, couldn’t look away. Some began furiously typing in the chat:

On-screen, as the others ran, Qing Li grabbed the zombie’s hands, pushing it backward. Catching it off guard, she let go with one hand, twisted its arm with the other, and flipped it over.

“AH!” The zombie yelped—not from extreme pain but more from confusion and discomfort, unable to resist.

Seizing the moment, Qing Li moved behind the zombie, kicked its legs out from under it, and pinned it to the ground. Twisting its arms behind its back, she rendered it completely immobile!

Two seconds later, Meng Ke blurted out in terror, “Qing Li didn’t come in! She’s still out there!”

Wei Pingnan & Xiang Yifei: “!!!”

Still panicking, Su Tang felt a tiny flicker of relief. Qing Li must’ve frozen in fear and been caught by the monster. Knowing Qing Li’s timid nature, she was probably scared out of her wits.

Good, Su Tang thought, smirking to herself. It’ll be hilarious if she wets herself.

At that moment, Qing Li’s voice called out from outside the door:
“Meng Jie, get a rope! The monster’s been subdued!”

All four froze.

“???”

Su Tang stared at the door in disbelief. She couldn’t see anything but refused to believe it. Was Qing Li… unharmed?

Meng Ke’s eyes nearly popped out of her head. “You’re okay?!”

Qing Li’s voice, still shaky from fear but firm, replied, “I’m fine. Just bring the rope!”

“Got it!” Meng Ke answered quickly.

Luckily, there was a rope in the office. Xiang Yifei grabbed it, cautiously cracked the door open, and peeked outside, terrified of being attacked.

But when the door opened fully, all of them froze.

In the hallway, the zombie lay face-down on the ground, arms twisted behind its back. On top of it sat Qing Li, dressed in a white nurse’s uniform. Her delicate face was as pale as a ghost, lips pressed tightly together, and her trembling hands firmly held the zombie in place.

The chat exploded:

[Haha, impressive, isn’t it?]
[Qing Li is too amazing!]
[She subdued the monster! Incredible!]
[Surprised? Qing Li’s the real MVP!]

Of course, they were!

Wei Pingnan was the most excited. “Oh my god, you took down the zombie!”
