As she stared at them without blinking, the three girls’ hearts skipped a beat, and they suddenly felt a bit scared. Stammering, they said, “What do you think you’re doing?”
Yan Qing pursed her lips and smiled, slowly stepping forward.
The first three girls were Dong Meng, Jing Jing, and Diao Xinyi. The other two girls, Xie Xiaowen and Tang Yue, only expressed their dislike through their eyes.
At this moment, the five of them felt an unexpected sense of danger as Yan Qing silently and slowly approached them.
Dong Meng, the leader and the boldest of the group, took a step forward and coldly asked, “What’s this? You want to fight?”
Yan Qing tilted her head with a smile and said, “Yes!”
Dong Meng: “??”
She was stunned. Yan Qing, the timid girl, actually said that?
The others were also momentarily frozen, but before they could react, Yan Qing had already made her move.
…
A resounding “slap” echoed as a fist landed squarely on Dong Meng’s cheek.
“Ah!” Dong Meng screamed, stumbling back two steps from the force of the punch. Her face twisted in anger. “You dare hit me? I’ll make sure you regret it!”
“Get her!” Jing Jing and Diao Xinyi shouted in unison.
Yan Qing wasn’t afraid at all. With one punch after another and a swift kick, she knocked the three girls down, even though they were taller than her.
“Do you want more?” Yan Qing scoffed, landing punch after punch, targeting the most painful spots. She continued, “Weren’t you so tough before? Why aren’t you hitting back now? You were so proud earlier.”
“Ah—help—”
“Crash—”
The dormitory immediately erupted into noise. The three girls couldn’t even fight back as Yan Qing easily took them down. They tried to grab nearby objects, but before they could, Yan Qing kicked them away, leaving them in pain.
Xie Xiaowen and Tang Yue, startled by the sudden turn of events, quickly scrambled up onto their beds, trembling with fear as they shouted in terror, “What are you doing? Are you crazy?”
Yan Qing was handling the three girls effortlessly, not forgetting to look threateningly at the other two. “Don’t make a sound. If you cause a scene, I’ll hit harder next time—and I won’t leave anyone out!”
“Mmm…” The low whimpering began. The three girls, beaten and too scared to fight back, huddled together. They quickly covered their mouths, their eyes wide with fear as they looked at Yan Qing.
The other two faces flushed with embarrassment and didn’t dare to speak.
At that moment, to them, Yan Qing seemed like a demon, a monster. The innocent little bunny, whom they had once bullied at will, had suddenly transformed into someone completely different. The gap was so wide that their minds were still in shock.
It was the day of everyone’s registration, and it was also dinner time. Most people had gone to eat, so the area was quiet. The girls had only screamed a couple of times before Yan Qing threatened them, so no one had noticed what was happening.
Though the girls weren’t beaten to a pulp, after Yan Qing had finished, she took a deep breath. Her pale face was flushed from the exertion, and a light sheen of sweat covered her skin.
The room was a mess—chairs, books, buckets, and other items were scattered across the floor, with many things broken.
Yan Qing glanced up and saw Xie Xiaowen and Tang Yue huddled tightly on their beds. When they saw her look over, their faces turned pale, and they forced out a weak, “We didn’t bully you, don’t hit us!”
Yan Qing sneered. “Don’t worry, I won’t hit you.”
The two girls finally relaxed, watching her in shock.
The other three still didn’t dare to get up from the floor.
Yan Qing didn’t hold back, but she didn’t focus on their faces. The bruises weren’t severe, but their bodies seemed to ache all over. Every slight movement caused them pain.
Jing Jing looked at her in panic, her voice trembling. “Did you break my bones?”
Yan Qing returned to her seat, casually tossing books from the desk at them. She said slowly, “Don’t worry, it’s just a little pain. I know exactly how hard to hit.”
The three girls didn’t dare to speak as they silently picked up the books that had been thrown at them.
After Yan Qing had tossed everything from the desk, she coldly looked at them and said harshly, “This is what you get for bullying others. Behave yourselves in the future, or I’ll make it worse next time!”
The three girls nodded rapidly, their heads lowered in shame. They didn’t dare resist, instead looking at her pitifully, hoping she would let them off the hook.
The boldest, Dong Meng, quietly asked, “So… can we get up now?”
During the fight, Yan Qing had first kicked their knees, and now all three were still kneeling on the floor. The marble surface had caused their faces to turn pale, and their knees were swollen, still aching.
Yan Qing innocently asked, “Didn’t I tell you to get up?”
It took the three girls a moment to process, and they quickly scrambled to their feet, each collecting their belongings. They didn’t dare disturb Yan Qing anymore.
Yan Qing sat at the edge of the room, near the door, her legs casually resting on the desk. She glanced at the three girls carefully picking up their things and the two girls sneaking down from their beds. She said in a calm voice, “From now on, let’s keep to our own business. Don’t think about telling the teacher or your parents. Unless you never want to see me again, I’ll make sure you know the consequences. If you’re honest, this can all be forgotten. Got it?”
“Got it.” The girls answered in a low voice.
Of course, they understood, as these were the same words they had once said to the original owner. They weren’t exactly the type to pick fights. After getting beaten a few times, they were scared and didn’t dare to do anything more, especially since Yan Qing had promised not to hurt them further. They nodded quickly.
Yan Qing raised an eyebrow, her voice low. “Why are you speaking so quietly? Did you understand?”
“Understood!” The five girls quickly replied in unison, their voices louder than before.
