TSFLIP Chapter 515

“We don’t need to bring them back. Just let them go,” Feng Guang said, giving Xu Wang a firm nod. After all… Nan Xiaoxiao had genuinely tried to help her escape. Besides, there was no real bad blood between them—why keep picking fights with the female lead for no reason?

Xu Wang nodded.
“If that’s what you want, then we’ll leave them alone.”

Yan Yu was injured and wouldn’t get far anyway. As for the swarm of Zerg outside the castle… there was no need for her to know about that.

“Feng Guang,” Xu Wang said with a smile, taking her hand, “let me show you my toy room.”

In the blink of an eye, he whisked her into a dimly lit room.

The room was filled with people—some she even recognized. Cecil, Xiao Xiao, soldiers she’d seen before, and… Ye Mo. Not a single one missing.

It was eerie. But Xu Wang seemed quite pleased, and explained to the stunned Feng Guang,
“These are all robots I created.”

“Robots?” she echoed in disbelief. That couldn’t be right—yet as she looked closer at the “people” standing against the wall, their eyes shut, motionless and utterly silent, it didn’t seem so far-fetched.
“Are they like Number One?”

“Not quite.” Xu Wang’s black eyes lit up with excitement as he spoke about something he was passionate about.
“Number One runs on code. He follows instructions. But these robots move through the mental energy I assign to them.”

If Number One functioned based on lines of code that dictated every move, then Cecil and the others acted through Xu Wang’s consciousness. In other words, they were extensions of his mind. Though they moved and spoke independently, Xu Wang was still the core—they were emotionally linked to him, influencing one another in ways that couldn’t be undone.

He led Feng Guang to his desk like a child eager to show off a prized possession. From the drawer, he pulled out a book and handed it to her, his eyes clear and tender.
“Look—this book, I wrote it. I planned out everything in here—what’s supposed to happen each day, what everyone’s supposed to do.”

Feng Guang took the book from him and flipped through it. Even with a glance, she understood. The main character was Ye Mo, and everything was written from his perspective—what he would say, what he would do, even the details of his escape attempt and how it would ultimately fail.

So that explained what Cecil had said to Xiao Xiao in the sewer that day:

“The moment you brought her back, you broke the rules. I was supposed to be in the cell recovering from my injuries. You were supposed to be in your room resting. And yet here we both are, standing beside this captivating young lady. Tell me—was I the only one who broke the rules?”

That was because, in the timeline where Ye Mo was supposed to escape, neither Cecil nor Xiao Xiao should have been there.

Xu Wang had written a script, and these people he created were like actors in a stage play—except he wasn’t just the director; he was the playwright too.

Feng Guang was stunned by the revelation, though not as shocked as she had been when she first learned who he was. She quietly wiped at her eyes, speechless for a long moment.

Then a tear fell from her cheek onto the open page of the book.

Xu Wang panicked.
“Feng Guang… did I scare you?” he asked, his voice full of worry.
