“All dead by suicide…” Feng Guang repeated Yan Yu’s words, stunned. Then, almost instinctively, she protested, “That’s impossible… I saw so many people in this castle!”

Yan Yu replied calmly, “I have no reason to lie to you. The Interstellar Alliance prison only held three inmates, but it was heavily guarded. The first to arrive was the pirate Cecil, then came the arms dealer Xiao Xiao, and finally… the one classified as the highest-level threat: Ye Mo.”

Feng Guang felt like she’d plunged into a frozen abyss. Her back went cold. “You’re saying… he killed them all?”

“He’s capable of it. He wouldn’t even have to lift a finger. Just by standing near them, he could make anyone do whatever he wanted. Ye Mo is the most successful artificial human ever created. His psychic power is ranked SSS. He’s the strongest mental ability user in Alliance history.”

“Feng Guang, this place is too dangerous!” Nan Xiaoxiao looked anxiously at her, alarmed by her blank expression. “You have to come with us—let’s get out of here!”

At first, Feng Guang had just seen the castle and thought she might find help. But after hearing everything Yan Yu said, a chill crawled up her spine. She wanted nothing more than to run.

“Leave?” Feng Guang suddenly laughed. “Why would I leave? He won’t hurt me.”

Her smile carried a strange, eerie quality.

“Feng Guang…” Nan Xiaoxiao reached out to grab her, but Feng Guang stepped away.

This wasn’t like her. Alarmed, Nan Xiaoxiao asked, “What’s wrong with you?”
