[QTC] MBDT Chapter 880

Cao Yichen followed and echoed: “Yes, that’s right. We all saw it. Junior Brother Lin Chao was killed by you.”

Yin Jian looked at her coldly, “Senior Sister Yutang, at this point, you should just admit it honestly.”

Bi Siyu looked at her sadly but didn’t say anything. However, the expression on her face was more convincing than words.

Lin Chao’s master, Master Jing Guang, said angrily, “Bei Yutang, what else do you have to say? This time, the six of you went to the Forest of Ten Thousand Beasts together. Everyone accused you of killing Lin Chao. The facts are before us, so it is useless for you to quibble.”

Bei’s mother was not happy with this. She curled her lips, held a hint of sneer, and said indifferently: “That’s not the way to say it. Before convicting someone, you have to produce evidence first.”

Jing Guang was furious when he heard her words and directly retorted, “Are you saying that they have joined forces to frame Bei Yutang?”

Bei’s mother shrugged, with a noncommittal attitude, which had already made everything clear.

Jing Guang snorted coldly. She wanted to protect her daughter. Let’s see how she could protect her this time.

“As you said, Zhao Yun and others are trying to frame Bei Yutang, but what about Bi Siyu? She has been with Bei Yutang since she was a child, and they are as close as sisters. She didn’t stand up to clarify for her, which has explained everything very well.”

After Jing Guang finished speaking, he turned to the elders who were sitting in the upper seats and said, “Such evil acts as harming fellow disciples must not be tolerated. I hope that the sect head and the elders will handle this impartially and set the record straight.”

“This alone is not enough to be believed. We all rely on one piece of evidence. Without any evidence, to convict someone based on the one-sided words of a few people is nothing but a joke.” Bei’s mother immediately retorted.

Xuan Qingzi said: “Jing Guang, Bi Yao, you two should be patient. After this matter is clarified, it will be handled impartially, and I will never be partial.”

When Jing Guang heard what the sect head said, he felt much more relieved.

Xuan Qingzi looked at Bi Siyu and others, “Do you have evidence to prove that Bei Yutang killed Lin Chao?”

Zhao Yun and others looked at each other and shook their heads.

Bei’s father and mother breathed a sigh of relief when they saw this.

They didn’t believe that their daughter had killed her fellow disciples.

Bi Siyu’s lips rose unconsciously when she saw the situation on the field.

They had no evidence, but Bei Yutang also had no evidence to prove her innocence. The final result of this matter would be a headless case.

When Zhao Yun and others proposed this matter, the reason why she didn’t stop it was that she did not actually think of convicting Bei Yutang of this crime.

Because she knew clearly that Bei Yutang had Bei’s father and Bei’s mother as her backers. If they wanted to bring her down, it would be impossible unless they had sufficient evidence.

The situation on the field now was exactly as she expected.

The final outcome of this matter would definitely be a dead end, and this was exactly what she wanted.

Thanks to her efforts, everyone in the sect had come to believe that Bei Yutang was hurting her fellow disciples.

When the final outcome of this matter was nothing, naturally, the disciples in the sect would think that the sect was shielding Bei Yutang, and then they would vent their anger on Bei Yutang’s parents and brother.

Naturally, their reputation and status would be affected.

Not to mention Bei Yutang’s reputation, which was already bad, and with this incident, it would be absolutely impossible for her to clear her name.

Bi Siyu’s calculations were very accurate, but she would never have thought that Bei Yutang had evidence.
