Everyone in the industry knew that Ke Yiyang was famous for loving his wife.
Ke Yiyang smiled and said nothing. When Mr. Chen saw his expression, he understood.
When Bei Yutang looked at the hands of the clock pointing to the direction of nine o’clock, she guessed that he would be socializing today. It seemed that her mousse cake was gone.
However, this was better, and he could continue tomorrow.
Just then, she heard the sound of a car coming from outside. She dragged a long iron chain and walked to the window. She saw Ke Yiyang’s car driving into the garage.
Bei Yutang immediately sat back on the couch and picked up the novel again. (T/N: Pretend, keep pretending, haha…)
After a while, the door was opened.
Bei Yutang seemed to be immersed in the world of the novel and did not hear anyone entering until a box of cakes appeared in front of her.
Bei Yutang raised her head in surprise, took the cake from his hand, and opened it eagerly.
She picked up the small spoon, scooped out a small spoonful, and put it in her mouth. Her bright eyes narrowed slightly in pleasure.
Seeing her eating the cake, Ke Yiyang, who had never been interested in sweets, actually had the urge to try it.
“That’s the taste. It’s so delicious.”
Bei Yutang took two bites in a row, and when she raised her eyes, she saw him staring straight at her.
Bei Yutang took a small spoonful and asked tentatively: “Do you want a bite?”
Ke Yiyang actually leaned down and ate in one bite.
Bei Yutang’s eyes flashed with surprise. Didn’t this guy hate sweets the most, which led to the original owner rarely eating them after being with him?
“How does it taste?” Bei Yutang looked at him with bright eyes.
Looking at her expectant eyes, Ke Yiyang reluctantly said something insincere, “It’s okay.”
In fact, what he thought in his heart was that it was unpalatable and too sweet.
Bei Yutang seemed not to notice his reluctance, deliberately scooped a large piece, and handed it to him. Ke Yiyang did not push it away.
Bei Yutang didn’t feed him for the third time. Too many times was not good. Stopping in moderation would give the best results.
In the next few days, Bei Yutang asked him to bring things in different ways every day, and Ke Yiyang never refused.
On this day, Ke Yiyang looked at the time. The mobile phone should ring.
His eyes unconsciously looked at his mobile phone, but as time passed, it still lay there quietly without any reaction.
Ke Yiyang forced his eyes to move back to the document, but after looking at it for a long time, he didn’t read a single word. He kept paying attention to the mobile phone out of the corner of his eye.
Did something happen?
When he thought of this possibility, Ke Yiyang hurriedly called the maid.
“Where is she?”
The maid was startled by the urgency in the boss’s tone, “Madam is reading upstairs.”
Ke Yiyang frowned slightly, “Is she okay?”
The maid had a question mark on her face, but she replied honestly: “Yes.”
Ke Yiyang was still worried, “Go up and have a look.”
“Okay.” The maid didn’t know what the big boss was crazy about.
Soon, she knocked on Bei Yutang’s door and heard Bei Yutang’s voice.
“Please come in.”
The maid stood at the door and saw Bei Yutang sitting on the lounge chair near the window, holding a book in her hand.
“What’s the matter?” Bei Yutang asked.
“I just came up to see if Madam needs anything.”
“No, you go and do your business.”
“Yes.” The maid left the room.
Ke Yiyang on the other end of the phone listened to her voice and knew that she was still at home and nothing unexpected had happened.
He should have been relieved, but for some reason, he felt depressed and had an indescribable feeling of discomfort.

Title: Stock Up The Refrigerator And Reading About Natural Disasters
Released Date: Monday, June 10th, 2024
Updated Schedule: 2 chapters/every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Why apocalypse theme?
Because this translator, @Orthez, recently likes to read about apocalypse theme.
But the kind of natural disaster, not zombies.
Maybe because this things are more real than zombies, so I can imagine it in my little brain. Hehe…
I already read several novels with this kind of theme and found that this novel is well-written and very interesting.
Because I’m very curious, I ‘binged’ this novel for about 3 days. Haha…
I like this novel because this novel is not like other novels which only focus on how to deal with disaster, sinister people, and romance, but the MC in this novel has a mission.
She not only should focus to survive in the world full of disaster, face with the ‘dark side’ of people, and improve her own strength, but she also has a mission to take down the male protagonist of a harem novel.
Another point is that this novel has only around 100 chapters, while other novel has around 200-500 chapters.
So basically, because it relatively short. Haha… 🙂
Btw, because of this novel (and other novel with same genre), I have nightmares for several days.
I imagined whaf if the things in the novel happened in the real world.
So scary, terrible… (⋟﹏⋞)
But, I hope you like it! ღゝ◡╹)ノ♡❤️❤️❤️
You can support your lovely translator and your favorite novel by buying me a cup of Ko-fi ( ˘▽˘)っ♨
I will really appreciate it. ❤️❤️❤️
