After that murmur, no other sounds were heard, and the only change was his big hands on her waist, holding her tightly as if he was afraid that she would disappear if he wasn’t careful.
Bei Yutang was squeezed by him so much that her breathing was a little unsmooth, and her chest was slightly painful.
D*mn it. If he continued to squeeze her like this, she would be strangled to death by him.
Bei Yutang moved slightly and let out a dissatisfied hum. Sure enough, the strength in his hand relaxed.
Finally, her breathing was smooth. She didn’t have to worry about being strangled to death.
Bei Yutang continued to sleep.
Don’t ask her why she was so relieved. Because Ke Yiyang, this perverted boss, was perverted, but if she didn’t completely anger him, he wouldn’t do anything to her.
There was another point that deserved praise, and that was, he kept his word.
These should be the only two shining points that Bei Yutang saw in him.
The next morning, when Bei Yutang woke up, there was no one around her.
The maid seemed to know her daily routine very well. Not long after she got up, she pushed the dining cart into the room.
“Madam, please have a meal.”
The maid watched Bei Yutang finish her breakfast quietly. When she was about to leave, she was stopped by Bei Yutang again.
“Today, for lunch I want to eat…” Bei Yutang told her the names of several more dishes.
“Okay.”
After the maid left, Bei Yutang was really bored.
She looked at the books on the table and opened them. She was reading with great interest.
In the afternoon, Bei Yutang looked at the time and dialed the internal phone.
The maid walked into the room, “Madam, what can I do?”
“Give me your mobile phone. I want to call your boss.” Bei Yutang said.
The maid handed her the mobile phone but did not relax her vigilance just because she did not do anything weird yesterday.
Ke Yiyang, who was reviewing documents, picked up his phone immediately when he saw it ringing.
When he saw the name jumping on the screen, the corners of his tightly pursed lips slightly curved.
“What’s the matter?”
Bei Yutang heard that he was being businesslike again. Although his tone was softer than that of his subordinates, his opening remarks were really unbearable to complain about.
“I want to eat mousse cake from the Hawthorn Bakery on Qingfeng Road. If you come back from work and it’s on your way, buy one for me.” Bei Yutang said pitifully.
“Okay.” Ke Yiyang agreed without thinking.
As soon as he finished speaking, a beeping sound came from the other end of the phone.
After Ke Yiyang stared at the phone for a few seconds, he returned his attention back to the documents.
In the late afternoon, Secretary Fang opened the door of the President’s office and said to the big boss inside: “Boss, you have dinner with Mr. Chen at 7 o’clock in the evening. If you go now, you can arrive at the hotel at 6:55.”
“Let’s go.”
Ke Yiyang stood up and headed toward.
When their car reached Fengqing Road, Ke Yiyang, who had been closing his eyes to rest, opened his eyes and said, “Stop at the Hawthorn Bakery in front.”
Secretary Fang, who was sitting in the front, was confused and didn’t understand what the big boss was going to do.
“Yes.”
After the car stopped on the side of the road, Secretary Fang saw Ke Yiyang walking into the cake shop, and soon, he came out with a box of cakes in his hand.
Seeing this scene, Secretary Fang couldn’t help but sigh and think that the big boss was really good to his wife.
In the hotel, Mr. Chen opposite him noticed Ke Yiyang checking the time for the second time. Knowing that he should have something else to do, he wisely did not continue.
Before leaving, he jokingly asked: “Is your wife at home waiting for you?”

Title: Stock Up The Refrigerator And Reading About Natural Disasters
Released Date: Monday, June 10th, 2024
Updated Schedule: 2 chapters/every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Why apocalypse theme?
Because this translator, @Orthez, recently likes to read about apocalypse theme.
But the kind of natural disaster, not zombies.
Maybe because this things are more real than zombies, so I can imagine it in my little brain. Hehe…
I already read several novels with this kind of theme and found that this novel is well-written and very interesting.
Because I’m very curious, I ‘binged’ this novel for about 3 days. Haha…
I like this novel because this novel is not like other novels which only focus on how to deal with disaster, sinister people, and romance, but the MC in this novel has a mission.
She not only should focus to survive in the world full of disaster, face with the ‘dark side’ of people, and improve her own strength, but she also has a mission to take down the male protagonist of a harem novel.
Another point is that this novel has only around 100 chapters, while other novel has around 200-500 chapters.
So basically, because it relatively short. Haha… 🙂
Btw, because of this novel (and other novel with same genre), I have nightmares for several days.
I imagined whaf if the things in the novel happened in the real world.
So scary, terrible… (⋟﹏⋞)
But, I hope you like it! ღゝ◡╹)ノ♡❤️❤️❤️
You can support your lovely translator and your favorite novel by buying me a cup of Ko-fi ( ˘▽˘)っ♨
I will really appreciate it. ❤️❤️❤️
