[QTC] MBDT Chapter 48

The boy wearing glasses picked up the microphone and asked the first question very shyly.

“In order to eliminate unreasonable competition among banks and promote the healthy development of the international banking system in the ‘Basel Accord’, what is the capital adequacy ratio of banks that should be stipulated?”

Just as he finished speaking, Bei Yutang interjected: “Eight percent.”

“In order to prevent financial bubbles, what must be effective to control the operating risks of financial institutions?”

“External supervision, internal self-discipline, industry mutual discipline, and social fairness.”

The topic gradually changed from being simple at the beginning and gradually became more and more difficult. But, Bei Yutang answered the questions fluently, without pause at all. The people in the audience could hear the clear voice echoing in their ears.

When the male student finished asking all the questions he had prepared, he was defeated.

“Classmate Yang Tianying, please select the next one.”

Yang Tianying clenched her fingers unconsciously, took a deep breath, and said with a smile on her face, “Okay.”

This time the person chosen is still a male student named Xiao Jian. Xiao Jian is very famous in the Finance Department, second only to Ouyang Qing. He is famous for his excellence.

The questions Xiao Jian asked were not as common as the previous male classmate. This time the questions became very tricky and many of them were uncommon knowledge. It was difficult to answer without reading a lot of financial knowledge.

This is obviously beyond the category of freshmen and many seniors have smelled something unusual.

Students from other departments could not find it yet, but students from the same Finance Department knew it clearly.

Just when they thought that Bei Yutang was going to fall down, they heard Bei Yutang answer like pouring beans, like several family treasures answering.

Xiao Jian was stunned. He obviously did not expect Bei Yutang to be able to answer. He suddenly became more motivated to fight. He wanted to see where her bottom was.

This time, he asked questions that even a junior student might not be able to answer, let alone a freshman who was a former scumbag.

Many other teachers in the Finance Department frowned and more finance students looked at Xiao Jian with scrutinizing eyes.

The people in the Finance Department all had strange looks on their faces, which naturally attracted a lot of attention.

“What’s going on?” Someone asked.

A senior member of the Finance Department replied: “The question Xiao Jian asked has already exceeded the scope of freshman exam knowledge. Even if it were a senior student, they might not be able to answer it.”

“Ah! Isn’t this very unfair to Bei Yutang?”

The students from the Finance Department nodded. Not only was it unfair, it was simply deliberately embarrassing Bei Yutang.

There were gradually more comments from the audience, but the questions and answers between Bei Yutang and Xiao Jian were not over yet. Xiao Jian’s questions became more and more sharp, while Bei Yutang’s answers became faster and faster.

Anyone who understands the whole story is secretly speechless.

Someone exclaimed: “Dear me, I think the question raised by Xiao Jian shouldn’t be difficult. Otherwise, Bei Yutang would have been able to answer it without even thinking.”

People from the Finance Department almost vomited blood when they heard people from outside the department talking so shamelessly.

Yang Tianying pulled tightly with a pair of hands and looked at Bei Yutang in disbelief.

How is it possible, how is it possible, why can she answer it?

When Bei Yutang answered Xiao Jian’s question again, Xiao Jian finally stopped asking questions and looked at Bei Yutang with admiration in his eyes, “You deserve it.”

After the questions and answers between the two of them just now, all the students of the Finance Department gave a thumbs up to Bei Yutang, not to mention Xiao Jian’s admiration.
