Lena looked at the stench emanating from her and then at the stares directed at her. She couldn’t stand it any longer and ran out of the classroom in shame and anger.
Bei Yutang glanced around the classroom, her gaze settling on the only lonely desk at the back.
She seemed oblivious to the stares from her classmates, slowly walking toward the back.
The students in the classroom were somewhat surprised by Bei Yutang’s actions today. They knew that she always managed to fall for their tricks; even if she didn’t want to, someone would help her ensure she got caught. Yet today, they hadn’t succeeded.
Her conversation with Lena earlier had surprised them even more. The Bei Yutang of the past was usually a tight-lipped person, never uttering a sound, even when hit with a stick.
A man, seeing Bei Yutang approach, prepared to sneakily stick out his leg, already picturing her falling flat on her face, a smirk playing on his lips.
Just as Bei Yutang drew near, his leg stretched out. The next second, a scream rang out.
All eyes turned to the student who had been hit, looking at him with suspicion.
Bei Yutang seemed startled and involuntarily took a step back.
“Altai, what’s wrong?” Someone asked.
Altai snapped out of his stinging pain: “You attacked me?”
Bei Yutang looked at him innocently: “I didn’t even touch you. How could I attack you? Altai, you need evidence to make accusations.”
Altai was speechless.
Bei Yutang smiled and walked past him, while he could only watch helplessly.
Hmph, don’t be so smug. You’ll be crying when Miss Yi Si returns.
Bei Yutang looked at the deliberately vandalized tables and chairs in front of her and sighed inwardly.
Kids at this age are all so naive.
Their pranks are mostly the same old tricks.
Bei Yutang wasn’t a pushover; she wouldn’t let them bully her.
She walked up to Altai, looking down at him.
Altai looked at her with a mixture of surprise and disgust: “What do you want?”
Bei Yutang pointed to his desk and calmly said, “This desk is mine.”
Altai was stunned, as were the rest of the class. They all stared at her as if she were crazy.
“Damn it, Bei Yutang, what nonsense are you spouting?”
Bei Yutang just stared at him coldly, her gaze not sharp, but for some reason, Altai felt a tightness in his chest and unconsciously swallowed his saliva.
“You say it’s yours. Is your name on it?” Altai slightly raised his chin, feigning a fierce expression.
Bei Yutang took a pen from her bag and, under Altai’s shocked gaze, quickly wrote the three characters ‘Bei Yutang’ on his desk.
Bei Yutang pointed to the name: “Look, isn’t my name on it?”
Altai stood there, stunned, feeling an overwhelming sense of injustice.
While he was still stunned, Bei Yutang didn’t hesitate, easily lifting the desk with one hand and moving it to the back.
Altai watched helplessly as his desk flew away. Just as he was about to snatch it back, a schoolbag flew directly at him, hitting him hard.
This all happened in an instant. Everyone in the class stared wide-eyed.
They noticed that Bei Yutang seemed unusually different today, as if she possessed something special.
