The sun is just right, the breeze is gentle, and the scenery is beautiful. As far as the eye can see, there are fresh flowers, green grass, clear waters, and tall trees. The lakes, resembling small seas, turn increasingly red under the shining sunlight. Waves rise and fall, crashing against the shore, day after day, year after year, staining the sand grains on the shore red. Within the sandy beach, there are shells of various shapes, stones of different colors, and delicate creatures appearing and disappearing.
In the sky, a flock of birds flies by, bringing with them a soft chirping sound. They fly towards the distance and quickly become a small black dot on the horizon. In the far distance, there are intermittent barks of dogs. From the rocky mountainside where Ryan was standing, overlooking into the distance, he saw herds of cows and sheep on the grassland kilometers away. Mooing cows and bleating sheep were driven by the barking dogs and had walked out of the enclosure, scattering across the vast grassland to enjoy the fresh grass and warm sunshine.
Further away, in places unseen by Ryan, there are vast rice fields, where ducks roam freely. Young and tender ducks quack as they paddle leisurely among the thriving green rice plants.
Further in the distance…
Here, this is Ryan’s home. He can envision everything on the planet with his eyes closed.
Peaceful, tranquil, and serene.
Just like Tao Yuanming1T/N: Tao Yuanming, courtesy name (zi) Yuanliang, (born 365, Xunyang [now Jiujiang, Jiangxi province], China), was one of China’s greatest poets and a noted recluse, A master of the five-word line, Tao has been described as the first great poet of tianyuan (“fields and gardens”), landscape poetry inspired by pastoral scenes (as opposed to the then-fashionable shanshui [“mountains and rivers”] poetry), a poet in the ancient earth period described, “Picking chrysanthemums beneath the eastern hedge, leisurely I behold the southern mountains.” It’s a comfortable pastoral life that eases the soul.
After standing on the mountain for five or six minutes, Ryan ran down and then jogged back home. He didn’t encounter Connor on the way; his cousin probably went back home earlier.
After returning home, Ryan’s workout was not yet over. He went to the gym and continued with fifty sets of muscle training and fifty sets of endurance training. It’s already 8:30 PM when he’s thoroughly exercised, covered in sweat. However, instead of immediately showering, he took a moment to cool down and engaged in twenty minutes of aerobic exercise. As his pores contracted and his body temperature returned to normal, the sweat ceased to flow recklessly. Only then did he removed his workout vest, revealing his well-built physique. Firm and smooth skin wrapped around almost perfectly sculpted muscles. Beads of sweat on his chest slowly trickled down, passing through clearly defined abs and following the mermaid line, entering the mysterious territory.
The gym had a shower room and a wardrobe with spare clothes. Ryan entered the shower, turned on the overhead shower head, and let the warm water cascade over him.
Upstairs, Auston woke up from his slumber, his mind still in a foggy state. The residual soreness and numbness in his body made him reluctant to move. He opened his eyes drowsily while lying on his side, glancing ahead. The dark curtains are tightly drawn, casting a dim light in the room. He moved his hand beside him, realizing that the adjacent bedding had already turned cold. He had no idea when Ryan got up.
Auston took his hand out of the blanket and yawned, his lips accidentally brushing against something solid. He lifted his hand to take a closer look and discovered a smooth silver ring adorning his ring finger. The design was simple yet elegant, emitting a subdued and gentle radiance. Auston blinked, and his foggy brain began to function. He realized that he and Ryan had returned home, met Ryan’s grandmother and parents, and enjoyed a sumptuous meal amidst the blessings of their loved ones. They even played Mahjong, and Auston found the rules to be surprisingly simple, making it easy for him to join in and compete fiercely with Ryan. Ryan played a trick and let Connor win a bunch of strawberries. In the end, Connor slyly didn’t eat all the strawberries he won; they were shared among everyone.
It turns out that strawberries grown in the ground, nourished by sunlight and rain, taste so good.
And then, he and Ryan went upstairs…
As thoughts of last night’s madness filled his mind—the passionate moments on the sofa, the new positions on the bed, and the almost suffocating sensation in the shower—Auston’s face uncontrollably flushed. His body, covered by the warm blanket, started to heat up, and he quickly halted the playback in his mind, propping himself up and sitting up.
There was a slight discomfort in his waist, and he felt a bit sore below, but overall, his body felt dry and everything was within an acceptable range. He stood up, not bothering to put on slippers, and draped himself in a robe as he walked barefoot on the carpet. After a few steps, he reached the pleasantly cool floor. The sensation of stepping directly onto the floor felt wonderful, incomparable to the cold metallic surface on a ship’s deck.
Pulling back the curtains, the sunlight suddenly poured onto his body, and the breathtaking scenery leaped into his eyes, the blue skies, white clouds, flying birds. There was the sea, the beach, coconut trees, green grass, fresh flowers, and small animals. The air carried a medley of refreshing scents. Auston closed his eyes to discern them carefully—the scent of grass, the fragrance of flowers, the sweetness of pastries.
“It’s so beautiful.”
He sighed from the depths of his heart.
Raising his hand, sunlight filtered through his fingers, casting gentle beams onto his face. Auston gazed at the ring that had appeared on his hand. The silver ring emitted an inconspicuous halo of black light under the sunlight.
“Mithril.”
Auston’s eyebrows raised in surprise. Mithril was an extremely rare metal, and since the era of the Interstellar Empire, only a few hundred thousand tons of it had been discovered, and it was tightly controlled by the imperial government. These precious metals were crucial materials for constructing the central nervous systems of mechas, vital for a nation’s military, scientific research, and future development. Their value was immeasurable in monetary terms.
The actual significance of mithril flashed through Auston’s mind, occupying no more than 0.5 seconds, as he quickly realized that the ring had been given to him by Ryan and was now worn on his ring finger. The sudden flush on his face came on suddenly and receded slowly, and Auston felt his breathing quicken, exhaling hot breath. Indescribable emotions flooded his heart, causing a tingling sensation in his eyes. He seemed to see his mother’s gentle smile and his father’s serious yet affirming gaze before him.
His once monotonous and solitary life had gradually become vibrant and colorful with Ryan’s arrival. His parents were gentle, his grandmother was kind-hearted, and the care and love from his family soothed his soul. And then there was Ryan’s love, which filled the voids in his life.
Since his mother left, Auston hadn’t shed a single tear, until now… Only those who are cared for and loved have the privilege of shedding tears.
“Auston.”
Auston’s gaze shifted beyond the balcony, down to Ryan’s cousin, Connor, the renowned writer in the star network. Auston nodded in greeting, realizing it wasn’t enthusiastic enough. Hesitant, he followed Connor’s gesture and raised his hand to wave, raising his voice to call out, “Connor, good morning!”
“Good morning~”
Connor appeared to be a cheerful and sunny young man with over-the-ear hair and no deliberate care, but Auston’s keen instincts, honed from years in the military, allowed him to detect a hint of melancholy in Connor’s eyes. Connor’s inner world wasn’t as joyful as he portrayed himself to be.
As Connor entered the house, Auston stood on the balcony for a while before turning to head to the bathroom to freshen up. After finishing his morning routine, he suddenly remembered to check the time.
It was already 9:10 a.m.
Auston’s eyes widened in surprise. He had slept in for so long!
He hurriedly rushed downstairs, realizing that on his very first day, he had overslept. What would the elders think if they saw him like this?!
Time rewound by ten minutes. While Auston was getting ready, Ryan, who had been showering at the gym, had also finished washing up. He pushed open the bathroom door and saw Yuan Chu, who had managed to find a cylindrical-shaped household robot from somewhere and was about to import Code Zero into the robot.
Ryan: “…”
Ryan couldn’t help but speak up, “What are you guys doing?”
Unfazed by Ryan’s sudden interruption, Yuan Chu, with his calm and steady voice, responded, “Giving Code Zero a physical body. He wants to stretch his legs a bit. He’s been stuck inside the hard drive, and he feels like he’s going to rust.”
Ryan = = Nowadays, the demands of AI are really advanced.
“Don’t import it into the household robot; its quality isn’t good enough to withstand your tinkering.”.
Turning his head, Yuan Chu glanced at Ryan, his eyes subtly flickering as if innocently looking at his master. “Sir, what should we do then? There’s no better machine in the house than the household robot.”
“I have one over there.”
If Yuan Chu had eyelids and the ability to move them, he would have squinted to look at his master.
“Don’t look at me like that. At that time, I didn’t have any other options. I was young, so I could only use what was available.”
Yuan Chu, “Oh.”
Ryan: “…” This sounds really odd. Raising an autonomously developing AI that has learned all sorts of random things from Star Net is mentally exhausting.
Deciding not to dwell on the issue any longer, Ryan abruptly changed the subject. “Yuan Chu, you’ve gone astray.”
Yuan Chu’s eyes flickered, “Have you reserved a seat at the restaurant facing the Emperor’s visage? Or have you bought tickets to the museum to see those diaries? These things have existed for hundreds of years; you can’t always avoid the past. Master, we should seek the truth of these matters!” The flat voice became urgent, with evident excitement. Yuan Chu was resentful. The tremendous power from self-destruction distorted everything in an instant. If it weren’t for the Master’s last-minute effort to transfer him into the hard drive, which was propelled tens of thousands of light-years away by the shockwave of the self-destruction, he wouldn’t have survived.
We should find those damn traitors, throw them into the Zerg and have them torn apart, crushed by the Zerg’s giant claw!
“Sir, we shouldn’t run away from this.”
Ryan, still draped in a towel, squatted down beside Yuan Chu. His face, now calm, concealed a whirlwind of emotions deep within his eyes. With a sigh, all the emotions subsided, and the youthful face took on the serenity of an old man. “I am not avoiding anything; I am simply starting anew. Yuan Chu, the pursuit of truth is not important. The people from that time are all dead; we can’t flog a corpse.”
“Why not?!” Yuan Chu couldn’t comprehend. He didn’t possess the intricate thoughts of humans; he was straightforward. If someone harmed his master, revenge should be exacted. “They bask in glory, enjoy the adoration and worship of the world, their descendants revel in luxurious lives, elevated and revered. Look, your adopted son’s Stark family has fallen, their descendants lost in obscurity. The guard, Tyrell, has turned into a traitor, bringing disgrace to their lineage. Your maternal Qin family lives a mundane and humble life, tending to a small cultivation planet for a lifetime. You should step forward, clear the names of the wronged, find the real traitors, and hang them!”
Ryan: “…Are you a mecha? Why is your thinking more human than mine? Let go and live a good life.” He suddenly said with a hint of melancholy, “The truth will eventually come to light.”
“You’re just trying to appease me. I’m just a useless mecha.”
“Well, little mecha, behave yourself and take your little companion out to play. I’ll give you that small robot later, and then we can import Code Zero into it.”
Code Zero, who kept quiet all the time, said, “Thank you.”
Ryan went to change his clothes, and Yuan Chu reluctantly went out with Code Zero. When they opened the door, they saw Auston hurrying down from upstairs and greeted him, “General, good day.”
“Good morning, Yuan Chu,” Auston said again: “Code Zero, good morning.”
“General, good day.”
“Mr. Ryan is inside. He’s changing clothes and will be out soon,” Yuan Chu said, scanning Auston’s hand, causing a series of complex codes to surge through his system. If he had human-like facial features, he would have smirked mysteriously at this moment.
Auston’s gaze passed over Yuan Chu and looked into the gym. Soon, he saw Ryan walking out, wearing a short-sleeved solid-colored t-shirt and light blue jeans. Auston appeared remorseful. “Ryan, you should have woken me up. I overslept.”
“It’s okay. Mom and Dad won’t mind,” Ryan said, pushing Yuan Chu aside, asking him to step out first before he walked around him towards Auston. He wore a gentle smile, soothing Auston’s concerns. “When you’re truly considered family, it doesn’t matter when you wake up, whether you do chores or have a sweet tongue. Trust me, they won’t mind.”
“But…”
“There’s no ‘but.’ You’ll see when you meet Grandma later,” Ryan said, taking Auston’s hand and patting it to reassure his hesitations. “Grandma is in the kitchen. Once you see her, you’ll understand. She won’t care if you woke up late. Mom and Dad went to the field. You were tired last night, so today I won’t take you around. Tomorrow, I’ll show you around the entire planting star.”
A faint shyness clouded Auston’s dark eyes. He had kept last night’s incident buried in his heart, but Ryan brought it up again. The shyness lasted only a moment. After all, he was the determined general who faced the swarm of the Zergs without batting an eye. He raised his right hand and wiggled his fingers, “The ring.”
“Wear my ring, and you’ll be mine forever,” Ryan urged. “Take it off and have a look. There’s a surprise inside the ring.”
Auston was a little reluctant to take off the ring.
Ryan said, “Take it off, and I’ll put it back on for you.”
“Um.”
Auston removed the ring and held it in his hand and looked inside, “’In life and death, boundless oath; With you, a lifelong commitment. Holding your hand, growing old together.’ What is this?”
“A sentence in the ancient Chinese Book of Songs,” Ryan explained without revealing where the ring came from. He casually said, “It looks really good on you. It’s made of a material I stumbled upon, and this ring has been passed down for many years. It will continue to stay with us.”
He took the ring from Auston’s hand, put it back on his finger, and leaned down to plant a gentle kiss on it. He whispered softly, “In life and in death, boundless oath; With you, a lifelong commitment. Holding your hand, growing old together.”
Auston nodded, “Well, yes.”

The great-grandmother is already over 290 years old. With the advancements in genetic research and understanding of the gene, human lifespans have been increasing. The average lifespan in the Empire is now 362 years, but not everyone can live up to that age. With a population of several hundred billion, there are still many who die before reaching a hundred. Given her age, the great-grandmother is considered long-lived. Despite her old age, she remains agile, sharp-minded, and full of vitality. She wakes up around six in the morning but doesn’t immediately get out of bed. Instead, she sits for a while before starting her day. After rising, she drinks a glass of warm water with a pinch of salt, and then she goes for a walk outside, regardless of rain or shine.
Maintaining a healthy routine, a cheerful mindset, and regular physical activity are perhaps the secrets to her longevity.
Some water radishes have matured on the plantation star, and she received a batch of them for the family. In the kitchen, she washed the radishes, sliced them, and then sun-dried them after exposing them to sunlight. After a couple of days of marinating, she continued to sun-dry them until they were thoroughly dried. These dried radishes can be stored and enjoyed throughout the year. It’s a simple yet delicious dish that compliments meals perfectly.
Ryan believed that his grandmother’s cooking was the most delicious.
“Grandma~” Ryan embraced the petite old lady from behind and rubbed his head against her face.
The grandmother was pleased and smiled, saying, “My little Ryan, did you sleep well?”
“I slept very well.” Ryan turned his head and winked at Auston. Not being adept at handling family relationships, Auston stepped forward and earnestly greeted her, “Good morning, Grandma.”
“Morning, Auston. There’s breakfast in the pot. You must be hungry, eat up,” Grandma said, looking at the two kids meaningfully, “I’ve been through this when I was young. Young people never seem satisfied. Eat a bit more to nourish yourselves.”
Her words made both of them blush. With Grandma’s comment, it felt like the whole family knew what they did last night. Auston almost clumsily sat at the dining table, and it’s only when he started enjoying the delicious breakfast that he suddenly realized the truth. As Ryan said, real family members don’t care whether you slept late or woke up early; they only care about your well-being.
Breakfast consisted of a traditional Chinese meal. As soon as Ryan tasted it, he recognized his mother’s cooking. The soft buns were filled with juicy and flavorful meat, and Ryan could easily devour four meat buns along with a bowl of plain congee. While they were having breakfast, Connor rushed over, gave Grandma a big hug, and sat down at the table. He poured himself a bowl of thin porridge, drank half of it in one gulp, wiped the soup off his mouth with the back of his hand. After comforting his growling stomach, his movements slowed down. Then he stood up halfway, grabbed the remote control, turned on the screen, adjusted a few channels, and settled on the Newnes News channel.
“In recent days, the Qin Feng Anderson Emperor Museum on Qinglong Star has experienced deliberate damage to its collection of artifacts. The museum staff is currently carefully assessing any theft that may have occurred. The identity of the perpetrator is unclear, but the authorities are utilizing the most advanced methods to restore the images and are confident that they will soon apprehend the suspect,” the male anchor reported in a straight tone. “Now, let’s hear from our on-site reporter for live coverage.”
The camera switched to the field reporter, who interviewed several individuals before proceeding to play the surveillance footage from that day.
“The museum is equipped with surveillance cameras throughout, especially in open exhibition halls, to prevent any damage to the artifacts,” a voiceover of a museum staff member stated. The camera focused on the screen, displaying a crucial scene. A figure appeared, with a blurry face and indistinguishable gender and age. They were standing inside the emperor’s room in the former residence of the emperor, in front of a bookshelf. The surveillance footage paused, and the voiceover said, “We suspect that this person caused damage to the bookshelf. There used to be a secret compartment fixed to the shelf, but we are unsure if there was anything hidden inside.”
Blurring the image is just like saying ‘Three hundred taels of silver are buried here,’ and the museum immediately locked onto the target.
The reporter asked, “Has this secret compartment never been discovered before?”
The museum staff member replied, “The three places where the emperor resided were relocated as a whole and are displayed to the public in rotation. We have conducted inspections of all items but had never discovered the secret compartment on that particular bookshelf. We have seen it before, and the compartment was nailed shut and painted over to seal all the seams. To be honest, it would be difficult for someone unfamiliar with the bookshelf to notice the secret compartment.”
The reporter asked again, “Was the blurring of the surveillance footage done by the museum to protect personal privacy?”
The museum staff member said helplessly, “No, it wasn’t us. As soon as the staff discovered the damage to the bookshelf, they urgently retrieved the surveillance footage. The footage appeared this way from the beginning. It seems that this person naturally had a mosaic effect, and there is no record of their entry into the museum, their movements within the museum, or their exit. We had technical experts inspect the footage, and there are no signs of manual alteration or any evidence of intrusion into the museum’s network. The police are meticulously reviewing each frame, and they will surely apprehend the culprit.”
Ryan: “…” Thankfully, I didn’t drink the porridge, or I would have definitely sprayed it out.
How sharp Auston was; his gaze swiftly swept across Ryan’s face, collecting all reflections and deep thoughts, choosing not to dwell on them any longer.
At some point, Yuan Chu stood by their side without anyone noticing. Ryan looked at him, and Yuan Chu’s flickered, as if to reassure Ryan, ‘Don’t worry, Master, I’ve taken care of the loose ends.’
Ryan’s mood couldn’t be better. It’s not wrong for him to take back his own, right? Absolutely! During the visit, he stood in front of the bookshelf for no more than twenty seconds, using his fastest hand speed to extract the ring. He didn’t have any tools on hand, nor did he clean up properly. It was a spontaneous decision when he walked over there, suddenly remembering the ring.
“Hahaha, he’s got a built-in mosaic effect. Is this guy an alien?” Connor couldn’t contain his laughter and came up with a wild idea. “Imagine the protagonist with a natural mosaic effect since childhood, lacking any presence, easily overlooked by people. He uses this ability to become a top adventurer. At the Adventurer’s Convention, everyone is discussing his great achievements, but when he stands on stage, ready to receive applause and flowers from the audience, he just can’t be seen. Only one person, his arch-nemesis, can see him, witnessing all his embarrassment and anger. Hehe, only the arch-nemesis can get to him…”
Ryan: “Ahem, ahem.”
“Oh, come on, lighten up a bit, act like an adult,” Conor pouted, looking at Auston. “What do you think of my imagination? Writing this would definitely be a hit!”
Auston, being more practical, said, “Aren’t you currently writing ‘The Song of Beacon? You should take things step by step and have a plan. Lack of presence… such people exist, but being an adventurer may not be suitable. I suggest he joins the military for training and becomes a scout to better utilize his potential.”
“You’re right,” Connor nodded with a thoughtful expression. He said, “The military life I depict in my writing isn’t comprehensive or realistic enough. Ryan’s perspective is too limited, and I’ve been thinking that he can’t provide me with the overarching view of the Emperor. Auston, could you do me a favor and tell me about military life from your perspective? I won’t ask about anything confidential, just a general idea to capture the mood.”
“You mean you want me to assist you in writing ‘The Song of Beacon’?”
“Yes, let’s recreate everything about Emperor Anderson together.”
Auston’s eyes visibly lit up, and without any hesitation, he said, “Sure, I’ll try my best to help. I hope I can be of assistance to you.”
“Definitely,” Connor was delighted to have a helper and raised his bowl of porridge, gesturing for Auston to clink it. “Let’s toast with porridge instead of wine, without getting caught up in too many etiquettes and rules. I wish us a happy cooperation.”
Auston lifted his bowl of porridge and touched it against Connor’s, “Happy cooperation”
Ryan: “###@!$%&” At this moment, his mind was filled with garbled code. He felt like his plan to buy books had been accelerated, no, it was completed instantly. His cousin’s research wasn’t thorough enough, and he would make sure his cousin knew the “real” Emperor.
“Connor, when I was running back, I ran into Aunt. She asked me about the synthesis of the φ3 element potion,” Ryan felt the need to give his cousin a heads up. “Aunt had already mentioned it to me before, and I couldn’t keep it from her, so I told her the truth.”
Connor seemed unaffected and carefree as he replied, “Got it, I’ll talk to my mom about it.”
After the meal, Ryan handed the potion to his cousin. The item had been delivered, but the decision was now in his cousin’s hands. Regardless, Ryan respected his cousin’s choice. He also found a small robot about the length of his arm, a companion robot he had purchased earlier for research purposes. It was well-made and perfect for giving Code Zero, a physical form.
When giving it to Yuan Chu, Ryan whispered, “Thank you. Is everything taken care of?”
“Rest assured, sir. I hacked into the museum’s network, and all the images have been processed. They won’t find any suspicious points in the ones I’ve handled.”
Ryan nodded, “Very good, well done.”
Yuan Chu’s eyes flickered, “It’s my duty.”
As for how Yuan Chu managed to handle the surveillance before anyone noticed, Ryan didn’t inquire further. After all, his AI had grown up and was capable of taking care of his master’s concerns on its own.
After completing all of this, Ryan and Auston went to the small starship to retrieve the planting pod. With the help of a transport robot, they carried it all the way to the side of the house. They were followed by Da fu, who was happily running around. The shedding phenomenon had improved significantly, with two-thirds of the fluff on its wings receding, revealing more flight feathers. When Da fu ran, its fledgling wings flapped on both sides, as if it could take off at any moment.
Calcium supplements are still necessary.
When Ryan asked Blair for the φ3 Element Synthesis Potion, he also had Dr. Blair give Da fu a full-body check-up. The results of the examination were relatively good. Da fu’s atavistic characteristics were stable, with no significant genetic defects. The only concern was calcium loss, which could lead to bone diseases. Until adulthood, Da fu would need to rely on calcium supplements.
“Ah-woo, ah-woo!”
Being able to run freely, Da fu was very happy.
The small piece of land next to the house had already been leveled. Ryan’s parents knew they were going to plant a clump of Moonlight Roses, so they prepared the land a week in advance. The area was not large, only about three to four square meters, and there were only a few Moonlight Rose plants for now, but it was enough to start. Once they grew and branched out, they could be transplanted.
Under the sunshine and gentle breeze, Ryan taught Auston how to plant flowers. At first, Auston’s movements were awkward and stiff, but as a seasoned general with excellent adaptability, he quickly grasped the essentials after a few repetitions and performed well by Ryan’s side. Suddenly, there was an argument coming from inside the house. It was Aunt Peggy unilaterally quarreling with his silent cousin, Connor. Aunt Peggy’s crying voice was filled with suppressed heartache, and amidst her hoarse voice was her incomprehension of the child’s behavior.
Ryan sighed and began telling Auston about Aunt Peggy’s situation. “Aunt Peggy’s husband has a tendency for domestic violence. In the first few years of their marriage, things were okay, just a bit cold. He would often use passive-aggressive behavior and make sarcastic remarks. But later, when they couldn’t have children, he started getting physically abusive towards Aunt Peggy. Once it happens for the first time, it never stops. Even after Aunt Peggy had my cousin, he continued with the same behavior. If he’s in a bad mood, he hits her. If things don’t go smoothly at work, he hits her. If he just doesn’t like something, he hits her.”
The Empire’s marriage laws have reached a stringent level. The topics of compatibility-based marriages and the difficulty of divorce have been repeatedly brought up in parliament. Some members argue that these laws are a consequence of the extreme population shortage after the war, and that now, with domestic stability, human rights and personal freedom should be respected. However, over a hundred years have passed since the first proposal, and the laws remain unchanged.
One regulation in the ‘Imperial Marriage Law’ states that after marriage, both spouses must go through a three-step process involving the family, community, and court in order to apply for divorce. If any step rejects the divorce application, it is denied… Even in cases of domestic violence, if the abuser apologizes to the victim and is deemed to have sincerely reformed under the supervision of other family members and community officials, it is considered as if no domestic violence occurred, and the application for divorce is rejected.
This law has likely harmed countless individuals, yet the individuals sitting in parliament have consistently refused to amend it.
Domestic violence leads to divorce, and there is only one possibility, which is when the child in the family is harmed. Since his early consciousness, cousin Connor has witnessed his mother being abused, but his father never laid a hand on him because the abusive man didn’t want a divorce. One day, when that man was hitting his mother again, Connor rushed forward and willingly took the punch intended for her. The punch landed on Connor’s head, causing him to immediately lose consciousness. When he woke up, the court had already issued a mandatory decree for his parents’ divorce.
Young Connor finally smiled.
