HITA Chapter 7

“Ouch…” Shi Shuiyue called out in pain, and Tang Xing, who was currently bandaging her wound, had no choice but to stop. His heart ached as he looked at her and asked, “Did I hurt you?”

“It’s fine.” Shi Shuiyue couldn’t bear to see Tang Xing’s expression and replied nonchalantly. 

Tang Xing shifted his gaze back to her body, and the movement of his hands became even gentler as if he was bandaging a fragile doll. 

The wound was on her right shoulder, so Shi Shuiyue’s clothing was pulled down to her waist. Shi Shuiyue was definitely somewhat embarrassed, but she was a person who had lived in the modern world for a long time. Moreover, he was just helping her bandage her wound. Thus, she should stop thinking nonsense. 

After all, he was the main character. 

With this thought in mind, Shi Shuiyue couldn’t help but tense up.

She hadn’t forgotten that the original host was killed by Tang Xing. Although she was curious about his strange attitude, there must be some ulterior motive. So it was better for her to be more cautious. 

“Done.” Tang Xing looked at Shi Shuiyue’s suddenly stiffened body and thought that she was embarrassed. He smiled and helped her pull up her clothes. 

“Thank you…” After putting on her clothes, Shi Shuiyue saw his smile and became even more convinced that he was secretly plotting something against her. 

However, Shi Shuiyue wasn’t afraid of him launching a surprise attack on her. After all, in the novel, Tang Xing was a person with a strong sense of justice and he would never take advantage of others who were in precarious situations. For this reason, in the comments section, many female readers made comments such as ‘Male God!’, ‘I want to have your baby!’ and so on.

But, in Shi Shuiyue’s opinion, this behavior was idiotic!

The subordinate who betrayed him was already seriously injured so he could have killed him with just one more stab. Yet, Tang Xing was so magnanimous that he just let him go. 

As a result, that subordinate became the second biggest villain later in the story. 

With this thought in mind, Shi Shuiyue looked at his back with sympathy. 

Tang Xing: “…” He suddenly felt a chill down his back. 

There was a peach blossom garden under the cliff. The two of them walked over in hope of finding an exit. 

“This…” They were surprised to suddenly see an archway in front of them. 

Several large characters ‘Hehuan Village’ were written on the archway. Shi Shuiyue turned to look at Tang Xing, and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that he had a blank expression on his face. 

It seemed like he didn’t know yet. With this thought in mind, Shi Shuiyue walked closer to take a look. 

An ambiguous emotion flashed through Tang Xing’s eyes as he watched Shi Shuiyue walking away. 

Shi Shuiyue hadn’t expected that Hehuan Village would be located here. She had confirmed that this was the actual headquarters of the Harmonious Union Sect. 

Speaking of the Harmonious Union Sect, just by hearing the name one could tell that it wasn’t a righteous sect. It was infamous for ‘sucking’ people’s vital essence. But Shi Shuiyue knew that this sect was just lustful. The reason Shi Shuiyue remembered this sect was because the leader of this sect liked the main character. She was truly the ‘malicious female supporting character’. In the later stages of the novel, she disguised herself as the granddaughter of one of the sect elders of the righteous clans, and then she began competing with the female lead. 

But, this guy’s luck was actually quite good. In the novel, even the most famous information gathering sect of the righteous clans was unable to locate this sect. Could this be the legendary protagonist’s luck?

“You know this place?” Tang Xing’s voice suddenly sounded beside her ear and pulled Shi Shuiyue back from her thoughts. She faintly muttered a reply, “Mhm.”

Although the Harmonious Union Sect wasn’t as well-known as the Hundred Poison Sect, it was still a sect that people were afraid of. This was because they had a poisonous powder called Shiyu that could make one lose all of their martial arts skills, and it would take effect when touched. But, they, who were invincible at that time, had disappeared for many years. They gradually faded out of the martial arts world and were only mentioned in the later parts of the novel. Also, their sect leader was a woman.  

The leaders of the sects and clans were normally men. After all, it was the ancient times. But, of course, Shi Shuiyue was an exception. 

Except for Shi Shuiyue, it was abnormal for the leaders of other sects and clans to be female. If they were, then it would only indicate that this sect was no longer viable. 

There was a gleam in Shi Shuiyue’s eyes—if she could draw this sect to her side…

Shi Shuiyue was deep in her thoughts and didn’t see Tang Xing’s piercing gaze. 

“Older Brother Tang, drink some tea!” Ran Shu handed over a cup of tea with a smile. Tang Xing also smiled and took a sip of the tea. 

Ran Shu’s smile deepened. 

“You!” Tang Xing looked at her incredulously as he fell down weakly.

Tang Xing was startled, “What did you put in the tea?!”

Ran Shu pursed her lips and said, “What else could it be? Of course it’s Shiyu ah!”

“How did you…”

“Oh that? That woman who has been pursuing you gave it to me.” Ran Shu smiled with her hand covering her mouth, “I told her that I will help her get you if she helps me get the Tang Clan. Don’t you think it’s a good deal?”

Afterwards, Tang Xing was sent to the Harmonious Union Sect. Although he escaped halfway, he still died on that day. 

He would ever forget this.

“You have been following us for so long, why not just come out and meet us?” Shi Shuiyue, who was walking in the front, suddenly stopped. When Tang Xing heard her words, he came back to his senses and looked up. 

Rustle—the grass beside them moved.
