HITA Chapter 21

Shi Shuiyue thought that the Hundred Poison Sect’s dungeon was the cleanest of all prison cells. There wasn’t any messy hay and rags. All the cells were furnished with wooden beds and quilts. It wasn’t mentioned earlier, but they had not used the dungeon even since Shi Shuiyue became the sect leader. Thus Yu Ruiran would punish disciples who slacked off when training to clean the dungeon. As a result, the dirty and messy dungeon was tidied up. 

When Shi Shuiyue found out about this matter, she summoned all the members of the sect for the first time since she became sect leader. Just as everyone thought that she was going to make some important announcement, Shi Shuiyue said, “Raise your hand if you haven’t cleaned the dungeon before.”

Everyone was taken aback for a moment, and then a few scattered hands were raised. Shi Shuiyue inwardly counted—out of over 1800 sect members, only 13 hadn’t been punished to clean the dungeon.

If everyone who didn’t train properly bought her a box of osmanthus cakes…

“Sect Master, you should go take a nap!” With a smile, Yu Ruiran pushed Shi Shuiyue out. Then he turned to look at the disciples below and revealed a ‘gentle’ smile, “Come on, let’s practice on how to hit people where it hurts the most~”

Shi Shuiyue stood outside quietly and listened to the miserable cries inside.

Forget it—she should just ask Muqing to buy it for her.

When Shi Shuiyue came back to her senses, the maidservant had already led her to Xie HAO’s cell.

Xie HAO, who was leaning on the steel pillar, looked fiercely at Shi Shuiyue and shouted, “You cruel and ruthless demoness! Quickly release me!”

Shi Shuiyue stood at the entrance as she looked at him and inwardly thought—wouldn’t she lose a lot of face if she let him go just because he told her to?

“I reckon you can change your name to Xie Jinyu¹jinyu means goldfish later.” Shi Shuiyue said seriously. 

Xie HAO was taken aback by her words and asked unconsciously, “Why?”

Shi Shuiyue glanced at him and nodded thoughtfully, “It’s because you don’t know how to blink. Did you know that goldfish can’t blink? It sleeps with its eyes open. People often say that one’s name is the reflection of oneself. I reckon that the name Xie Jinyu fits you quite well. Also, what do you think of the environment here? Let me tell you, this place was actually cleaned by disciples who didn’t train properly…”

Xie HAO: “…”

An hour later—

“Delicacies Pavilion’s osmanthus cakes are very delicious. If it wasn’t because I ate so fast last time when you were chasing me, then…”

“I’ll say it! I’ll say it! I’ll tell you everything! Stop bothering me!!” Xie HAO couldn’t bear it anymore and started banging against the steel pillar. Even the sleepy maidservant was woken up by the loud noise. 

The maidservant looked at Shi Shuiyue with sparkling eyes—as expected of our sect leader ah! They didn’t even need the interrogator to do anything to get him to speak!

Shi Shuiyue felt the ardent gaze of the maidservant and touched her nose in embarrassment.

Thus Shi Shuiyue seldom chit-chat with people she knew. As for speaking with strangers, Shi Shuiyue was afraid that her life would be in danger. She also couldn’t converse with her sect members. She was a stern sect leader, so she couldn’t ruin her image with such matters. Fortunately, she had met someone who she could talk to today. Shi Shuiyue felt very relieved ah. 

If Xie HAO knew what she was currently thinking about, he would definitely yell, “Relieved your butt ah! This is animal cruelty! They both quietly stared at each other. In the end, Xie HAO gave in and spoke.

“So do you mean that you want to take over the entire Jianghu?” Shi Shuiyue asked after listening to his explanation. 

“Mhm.” Xie HAO felt a little disappointed, as well as somewhat resentful, “Everything was already in order, but who knew that the kid from the Tang Family would suddenly intervene and cause me to fall into your hands!” Moreover, he was treated like this by a cruel and ruthless demoness!

Shi Shuiyue: “…” Hey, could you at least try to hide that expression on your face?

“The kid from the Tang Family that you just mentioned wouldn’t happen to be Tang Xing, right? What does it have to do with him?” Shi Shuiyue asked. 

Upon hearing Tang Xing’s name, Xie HAO gnashed his teeth in anger and wished he could just devour Tang Xing in one gulp. He said angrily, “That bastard collected all the evidence and ruined all my plans!”

After hearing his words, Shi Shuiyue couldn’t help but feel somewhat speechless, “You hate him just because of that? But it’s it true that you actually did those things?”

Xie HAO felt that her words sounded somewhat logical—wait, he was a bad guy ah. That was close. He almost fell for that demoness’ trap!

“If I tell you everything, you must promise the safety of my entire family!” Xie HAO shouted as he held onto the cell door.

“Sure.” Shi Shuiyue readily agreed. She wasn’t a good person anyways, so there wasn’t anything wrong even if she broke their agreement. 

“Actually, someone ordered me to do this.” Xie HAO said.

“Oh—who is so capable that he was able to order you around?” Shi Shuiyue got somewhat curious after she heard his words. Xie HAO was the leader of the Wulin League, and his martial arts skills were also naturally quite good. The reason he was captured this time was completely due to the fact that he got outnumbered by them. Yet, surprisingly, there was actually someone who could order him to do things. Wouldn’t that make this person the actual villain boss?
