“KILLLL!!!”

“The demon sect is here!”

“How did they know our location?!”

“There’s a spy!”

But, at this time, no one would care about the spies. Everyone was running away in panic. As if they were the claws of the devil, the sharp blades indifferently reaped people’s lives. In an instant, even the sky turned red, and a terrifying atmosphere spread out. Crazy demons were slaughtering, venting their anger, and raving in rage. 

In the midst of this chaos, there was an area that was unexpectedly empty. There was only a carriage parked there. The wind carried a bloody scent as it blew on the curtains of the carriage and revealed a gorgeous face. 

Shi Shuiyue looked at the massacre outside indifferently. With her hands on her knees, she seemed to be deep in her thoughts. 

Someone suddenly approached the carriage. 

“Sect Master, the Tang Family…”

“Are there people from the Tang Family here?”

“No, the Tang Family’s main residence is empty.”

“Oh.”

The Hundred Poison Sect disciple quietly retreated. Then, shortly afterwards, someone pulled open the curtain and barged inside. 

“Shi Shuiyue, are you really serious?” Tang Yu looked at Shi Shuiyue in disbelief, “Aren’t you afraid that Tang Xing will…” He didn’t finish his words, but Shi Shuiyue understood what he meant.

“Mhm.” Shi Shuiyue faintly muttered a reply and looked at the wall of the carriage.

Tang Yu opened his mouth and didn’t know what to say.

“Did you get me drunk last night to prevent me from coming?” Tang Yu rubbed his head, which was still aching. Since he found out that Mulan was his daughter, he had followed them back to the Hundred Poison Sect. However, Shi Shuiyue suddenly came to drink with him last night. He had thought that she had resolved her matters with Tang Xing and came to celebrate with him. He hadn’t expected that she was actually just stalling him!

“But why…”

“I’m a member of the demon sect.” Shi Shuiyue interrupted Tang Yu’s words and looked at him expressionlessly. She calmly said, “I’m a bad person.” After she said that, she lifted the curtains, and a pungent smell of blood instantly rushed into the carriage. She continued, “Look, I did all of this.”

“You…” Tang Yu couldn’t bear it anymore. Even though they weren’t really good people, they were still human lives!

Tang Yu left and Shi Shuiyue sat alone in the carriage.

So tired ah—Shi Shuiyue leaned against the carriage wall weakly and stared blankly out of the window.

So, what was the point of her coming here? Shi Shuiyue slowly closed her eyes. She wasn’t the main character. She didn’t have any unique destiny, nor did she have any extraordinary story. Moreover, she couldn’t even love anyone…

Shi Shuiyue had unknowingly fallen asleep, and in her daze, she seemed to see a figure. A familiar scent made her relax her guard, and she muttered, “Tang Xing…”

Tang Xing paused, and then gently took Shi Shuiyue into his embrace. He whispered, “Sleep.” It should be over when you wake up.

“Don’t go…”

“Alright, I won’t leave.”

The massacre outside continued. The corpses, tears, and blood merged into a gruesome landscape painting. As time passed, the colors on the painting became more and more vivid.

When she woke up, it was already dawn. Shi Shuiyue rubbed her temples and asked in a hoarse voice, “What time is it?”

“Reporting to the Sect Master, it’s already past five in the morning.” The maidservant carried a basin of water inside. Shi Shuiyue faintly voiced a reply, and then freshened up.

“This battle…” Shi Shuiyue looked at herself in the mirror, “…how is it?”

The maidservant smiled, “Thanks to Sect Master’s map, our Hundred Poison Sect came out victorious and captured the leader of the Wulin League, Xie HAO. He is currently locked up in the dungeon.”

Xie HAO—Shi Shuiyue inwardly reckoned that she should go take a look. 

“Then the Tang Family…”

“Sect Master, don’t worry. You previously told us not to harm the Tang Family, so we didn’t touch any of them.” The maidservant continued, “However, it seemed like the Tang Family didn’t participate and the Tang Estate is also empty.”

Shi Shuiyue faintly muttered a reply. With her gaze lowered, she seemed to be deep in her thoughts.

Was he the person in her dream?

It felt so real.

“Take me to Xie HAO.”
