“No matter which solution you choose, you must remember that those who hurt you must pay the price.” Shao Yu was slightly relieved after confirming that his daughter nodded.

After returning home, Shao Yi wanted to run out as soon as he finished eating, but Shao Yu stopped him.

“But Dad said…” Shao Tian was conflicted because her father and brother taught her differently.

Shao Yi immediately said, “Don’t worry about what Dad says, just listen to me. If we don’t make that kid feel the pain, how will he know he’s wrong?”

Shao Yu listened to the beginning of the conversation outside the door but didn’t continue, so he had no idea what good things the brat had taught him. He only noticed the two children yawning constantly at mealtime the next day and said, “Kids shouldn’t stay up late like that.”

These words startled the two children, who then exchanged a glance, fearing that what happened last night would be exposed. But seeing that Shao Yu didn’t seem to continue, they both breathed a sigh of relief.

In the kindergarten, Dongdong carefully circled around behind Shao Tian and forcefully tugged at her braid.

Shao Tian felt a sharp pain on her scalp, but she only cried out and didn’t burst into tears. She turned around, looked at Dongdong, and asked, “Why did you pull my braid?”

Dongdong didn’t answer, but just made a face at Shao Tian.

Dongdong said, “She tells the teacher everything, she’s such a tattletale.”

After saying that, Dongdong ignored her and ran away.

The girl next to her immediately asked Shao Tian if it hurt, and then said, “Let’s go tell the teacher that Dongdong is a bad kid.”

Shao Tian hesitated for a moment, torn between Shao Yu and Shao Yi’s words, but ultimately decided to follow her heart and said, “I’ll tell the teacher later.”

Even though Dongdong, the aggrieved party, didn’t intend to pursue the matter, the teacher wanted to say a few more words, but Shao Tian directly said, “I know I was wrong, I won’t do it again next time.”

Shao Tian and Dongdong left hand in hand, showing no sign of estrangement, so the teacher could only pretend nothing had happened.

When Shao Yu came to pick her up that day, he saw a little boy being held by his parent with one hand, while his other hand was desperately pulling on Shao Tian.

“I want to play with Tiantian, I want to go home with Tiantian,” Dongdong shouted to his father.

The little girl’s words were more effective than any words his own father could say. One second Dongdong was clinging to Shao Yu, the next he quickly let go, afraid that if Shao Yu held his hand for too long, Shao Tian would be unhappy.

Seeing his son’s pathetic state, Dongdong’s father felt ashamed, but he still took the initiative to introduce himself to Shao Yu. He naturally recognized Shao Yu and even invited Shao Yu’s whole family to go on a trip together on the weekend.

“Should we go out?” Shao Yu looked down at Shao Tian, who nodded and said, “Dad, I want to go to the amusement park.”

Shao Yu then agreed to Dongdong’s father’s request.

Seeing this, Dongdong said to his father, “Old Yu, you see? Tiantian is the one in charge at home. You have to listen to me in our family too.”

But all he got in return was a slap on the forehead from Dongdong’s dad.

When it was time to say goodbye, Shao Tian was eager to see her brother and go home, while Dong Dong was in tears, afraid that he would not be able to see Shao Tian again tomorrow.

Finally, it was Shao Tian who spoke up, and Dongdong stopped crying.

Shao Yu picked her up and dropped her off for a week straight, and Shao Tian finally adapted to kindergarten life. She even looked forward to going to the kindergarten to play with her friends every night.

Shao Yi was a bit older. Although he was rarely separated from Shao Yu, he was already sensible and understanding of Shao Yu’s work, so he accepted the situation very easily.

Shao Tian’s spirits plummeted instantly, the light in her eyes went out, and her pitiful appearance made Shao Yu feel a pang of heartache.
