“Wow!” Zheng Yue took a deep breath, shivering from the shock of the discovery.

“I did so much for her—helped her get close to Ye Mingxing, created opportunities for her. I could even die for her. Finally, she was moved, she turned back to me, and we were together…”

He stepped back, revealing a woman lying unconscious on the bed—Su Tang.

The police suspected Su Tang struggled, but why was there no sign when she left the hotel? She must have been drugged.

Ji Xian spoke softly, “It’s time for her to wake up. Let’s have her fully conscious as you watch.” His words were chilling, causing a barrage of comments pleading for him to calm down. But he didn’t even glance at them, fixated on Su Tang with an almost desperate stare.

It seemed carefully calculated; as soon as he spoke, Su Tang’s eyelashes trembled, and she slowly opened her eyes, her gaze initially hazy as it settled on Ji Xian. “Ji Xian? Why are you here?”

Ji Xian smiled warmly, but his eyes remained cold, not answering her.

Nearby, Ye Mingxing’s family sat with grim expressions, unsure whether to intervene or not.

Ye Mingxing was frantic and dazed, shouting at the police, “You need to go rescue her! There’s a child in her womb! If anything happens, it’s two lives!”

The police sent someone to comfort him while discussing strategies. No one knew if Ji Xian might suddenly lash out.

Meanwhile, on the screen, as Su Tang’s mind cleared, she grew paler and backed away from Ji Xian, fear in her voice. “Ji Xian, don’t do this. I’m a little scared…”

Ji Xian looked confused, “Why would you be scared of me?”

Su Tang swallowed hard and smiled faintly, “I’m not scared of you, just… don’t smile like that.”

Ji Xian smiled again, but it was even more sinister, sending chills down everyone’s spine. “Alright, Little Tang, come here, into my arms…”

Su Tang trembled with fear, tears streaming down her face, not moving. “Please don’t do this…”
