It wasn’t the same thing, though.

But at least he apologized to her.

She once thought that she didn’t need Duan Zihui’s apology, but now, she realized that it was not that she didn’t need it, but that she couldn’t wait for it, so she felt that she didn’t need it anymore.

In fact, Zhuzhu had actually remembered that her father hadn’t apologized, but her mother’s words had distracted her, so she’d been busy talking to her mother.

Dad apologized.

Zhuzhu immediately jumped up and said, “Mom, Dad has apologized to you. If you say ‘it’s okay’, it means you forgive Dad.”

“It’s okay.” Xie Qingyu said.

She said, “Duan Zihui, keep this ‘apology’ for Zhuzhu. She’s the one you feel the most sorry for.”

“Boiled fish, octopus balls, pumpkin pie…all delicious.”

The journey wasn’t long, and by the time they got out of the car, Duan Zihui had calmed down, and his expression had returned to a calm state.

However, when Zhuzhu saw the people queuing at the door, her jaw dropped. She stared with wide eyes for a long time, confused, and asked, “Why are there so many people? It didn’t have so many people last time.”

Xie Qingyu, watching the long line from the side, said, “A while ago, an internet celebrity with a lot of followers promoted this place, so it’s been packed lately.”

This store used to have good business, but it wasn’t that crowded.

Zhuzhu asked her mother the time and found out that it was not yet eleven o’clock.

Zhuzhu wanted to eat boiled fish, but after a moment’s thought, she said, “Mom, I’m not hungry yet. By the time it’s our turn, I’ll be almost hungry too.”

But Zhuzhu didn’t want to queue, and since her father was there, she arranged the division of labor among them.

“Mom, Dad is standing in line for us here. Can you go with me to buy some fruit?”

Before Duan Zihui could answer, Zhuzhu had already quickly slipped away with Xie Qingyu.

When they got to the fruit shop, Zhuzhu decided, “Mom, let’s finish eating before we go back. Dad will have to wait in line for a long time anyway.”

At least half an hour.

It wouldn’t be too late to go back after they finished eating.
