She turned around and ran into the room, her little footsteps clattering, as adorable as a little bunny.

Then the little bunny dove into the room and closed the door from the inside.

Xie Qingyu hurriedly chased after her. Just as she reached the door and turned the doorknob, she was surprised to find that the girl had locked the door.

Xie Qingyu couldn’t do anything about her daughter. She was a little worried that she would lock herself in and not be able to get out, so she hurried to coax her daughter.

“Okay, okay, Zhuzhu, if you don’t want to go out, then don’t go out. Don’t lock the door of your room. If something happens to you, Mommy won’t be able to come in.”

“Zhuzhu, be obedient.”

“Zhuzhu is not obedient.” Zhuzhu got down from the stool beside the door, went to the drawer beside to take out her toys, and sat next to the pink table to play.

She lowered her head and began to work on the puzzle, her eyes focused. Her small hands fiddled with her toys like tiny bamboo shoots, her movements adorable.

Zhuzhu locked herself in the room, so Xie Qingyu was a little anxious. She was worried that something might happen to the child if she was inside alone and she wouldn’t be able to take care of her, so she knocked on the door and urged her.

“Zhuzhu, can you open the door first? Mom will be worried if you’re alone there.”

Zhuzhu didn’t think there was anything to worry about. She was already a four-year-old baby and could easily step on a chair to open the door.

Even though her mother was worried, she still had to teach her a lesson because she didn’t do what she promised her last night.

Zhuzhu fiddled with her puzzle and said, “Mom, you promised me last night, but you didn’t do it. I’m going to teach you a lesson and see if you dare to lie to a child in the future.”

Xie Qingyu was locked up, so she had no way to deal with the child. She could only keep promising: “Okay, okay, Mom will never dare to lie to you again.”

After hearing her mother’s promise, Zhuzhu immediately put down the puzzle pieces in her hand and prepared to go out to open the door. However, after taking two steps, she immediately turned back and sat back on the chair.

She pouted and shook her head, saying, “No, Mom, I don’t think I should forgive you so quickly. You promised so quickly; you must be deceiving the children and being perfunctory to Little Zhuzhu. Your little baby said she doesn’t believe you and will lock you outside for ten minutes.”

Then she continued to play with her puzzle pieces.

The ten minutes Zhuzhu mentioned weren’t just a simple ten minutes; it was just an approximate number. It could be as short as half an hour or as long as several hours or half a day.

Xie Qingyu was in a dilemma. She felt like she had given birth to an enemy who was meant to bring trouble upon her.

Xie Qingyu then threatened her.

“Zhuzhu, open the door! If you don’t, I’ll have it torn down.”

She even banged on the door to get Zhuzhu’s attention.

But Little Zhuzhu wasn’t afraid at all.

She said nonchalantly, “Okay, I’ve wanted to change the door for a long time.”

Xie Qingyu: “…”

She has always had a bad temper, and now she really wants to curse.

But Zhuzhu is not an adult after all, and perhaps she inherited it from her, as she is already very articulate at the age of four.

Xie Qingyu sometimes couldn’t win an argument with her.

After suppressing her anger, she took the child’s favorite things to tempt her.

“Zhuzhu, Mommy will take you to buy some delicious food. Do you want to try some jelly, chocolate, candy, candied haws, or ham sausage?”
