Ji Hefeng parked his car in the garage and stood at the entrance. The Ji family mansion, resembling a manor, was as grand and magnificent as ever. The lights were on, and their brilliance was enviable. But before, in his eyes, it had only seemed empty and desolate.
He walked inside. The main house of the Black Hole was now ablaze with warm light, illuminating the lavishly decorated rooms. Several people were clamoring inside, seemingly fighting over something.

Ji Chen was the first to notice his father returning home. He rushed out, grabbed Ji Hefeng’s waist, and hid behind him.

Ji Tang and Ji Chen circled around Ji Hefeng.
Ji Hefeng looked up and met Yu Tian’s gaze, who was leaning against the door frame.

“What are you doing?”
Ji Hefeng grabbed his son by the collar.
Ji Chen glared at him, then, after a second of staring at his father, backed off.
Ji Tang quickly seized the opportunity to complain: “He lost the game, and we agreed that whoever loses gets to wear the skirt!”
Ji Chen: “…”
Ji Chen raged: “I didn’t lose. Mom and I were tied!”
Yu Tian shouted, “I wore it!”
Ji Chen: “…”
“You can’t afford to play!” The little girl loudly accused her brother.
“Dad!”
Ji Chen said sincerely, “You only have me as your son. You wouldn’t want to see your son embarrassed, would you?”
Ji Hefeng told him, “It’s embarrassing to break your promise.”

Yu Tian gave Ji Hefeng a big hug, then took his other hand, and said, “Dinner’s ready!”
Ji Hefeng was dragged into the house by the three of them. The room was simply decorated. The small square table in the middle was filled with delicious dishes. A unique light blue and bright red cake sat in the center, with three candles on it.

Yu Tian lit the candles with a lighter and lifted the cake.
Ji Hefeng finally saw the cake and raised an eyebrow. “Who made this?”
It looked like a child’s handiwork.
