WFSR Extra 3.3

Guo Na clapped her hands, “That’s great news! You two are so quick to have a baby now. Is it a boy or a girl?”

“It’s still too early. We can’t tell yet.”

Guo Na said, “I like girls. It would be great if we could have a little girl!”

Qu Rongrong quickly interrupted and said, “No, give birth to a boy! I like cool boys!”

The Qu family already has too many girls; why not have a little boy to play with!

Duan Qimai also said, “A niece would be wonderful.”

Ji Hemiao shook his head again. A little girl is soft and cuddly, and it will be even more difficult to deal with her tears. Boys are better because they can withstand a beating.

Yu Tian smiled as everyone else spoke excitedly.

Then Duan Qimai slapped his head, suddenly remembering he was still on the phone.

“Hey, Dad, who are you talking about? Yeah, Sister Tian is pregnant!”

Uncle Duan’s loud voice came out. Duan Qimai couldn’t stop laughing, thinking that this was a good idea to excuse him from skipping work!

He quickly shouted, “You’re here at the right time, not early. They just returned from abroad, so even Aunt Duan might not know about this!”

It was true that Duan Ru didn’t know yet, because Yu Tian wanted to surprise her mother in person. Even if she did notify her, her flight would be tonight, so she wouldn’t arrive until later that evening.

Uncle Duan was also very excited, even asking to give the phone to Yu Tian. Duan Qimai was particularly happy, as his father had finally forgotten about his absence from work.

Yu Tian smiled and said a few words to her uncle before being wheeled back to her room by Qu Rongrong.

“Go get some rest! Don’t tire my godson out! Brother Ji, take good care of her!”

The others didn’t dare interrupt any further. After hearing the good news, they left immediately. The couple had been away for a month and had been on a long flight, so they really needed some rest.

Pan Lianzhen went out for beauty treatments with her sisters. When she returned from her son’s call that evening, she happened to run into Duan Ru, who had come to visit.

Over dinner, Yu Tian announced the good news again.

Duan Ru was surprised, but Pan Lianzhen was even more surprised. Strong women rarely show their emotions, but socialites are prone to double-crossing.

“That’s great news! We need to get started now. We need a nanny specifically for Tian Tian…”

Yu Tian couldn’t help but say, “The nannies we have now are very good.”

Pan Lianzhen looked accusingly, “How can that be? Professional matters require professionals. I’ll go to the Liu family tomorrow. Their daughter-in-law just gave birth…”

She might know a lot about finding help.

Pan Lianzhen couldn’t sit still.

Duan Ru, watching her fluttering around, couldn’t help but say, “It’s only been less than a month. What’s the big deal? When I was pregnant with Tian Tian, she was already five months old and I was still flying abroad for business.”

Pan Lianzhen glared at her old sister, “That won’t work for Tian Tian. You were so healthy back then. Tian Tian was spoiled by you. She already has stomach problems. This needs to be taken seriously!”

Duan Ru found it a little amusing, but she was also very happy for her daughter.

Everyone was happy for them, and everyone was busy with their care. Ever since Yu Tian had her baby, Rongrong and her shopping spree had expanded beyond clothes, shoes, and bags to include a maternity and baby store. Qu Rongrong couldn’t resist the adorable little clothes in the store and bought several.

She wished that she could have a child herself soon.
