After a while, he looked at his mother eagerly, pen in hand. Yu Tian ruthlessly rejected his request and slid over to Ji Hefeng.

Ji Hefeng’s lines were clean and precise. Following his daughter’s suggestion, he used sea-blue paper and a dark blue pen for the background. With a few strokes, a rippling ocean came to life on the paper.

As the man worked diligently, a strand of hair fell carelessly from his forehead, framing his profile and making it look even more handsome. After all these years, he still looked like her favorite.

Yu Tian was so engrossed in her work that she didn’t even notice Ji Hefeng squeeze her hand while changing pens.

After Ji Hefeng finished his blue painting, he took a green pen and began drawing seaweed, matching his daughter’s seabed design and pasting it on the bottom of the box.

“Brother.” Ji Tang sighed softly, her childlike face changing to a serious expression, a strikingly cute contrast. 

“Or else, just forget about the prize!”

After all, their family has money.

Ji Chen: “…”

Ji Chen was not happy: “I have to. I have to buy a gift for my deskmate when I win the money!” 

Yu Tian became excited: “Who is your deskmate? Is she the little girl from last time?”

Yu Tian helped cut out the collages that the father and daughter had drawn and pasted them onto the box. 

Ji Tang looked at her brother lying next to her and whispered, “Brother, this is your work. You can’t just do nothing. That’s cheating, and it’s wrong.” 

Ji Chen said, “Didn’t I cut that jellyfish?”

Ji Hefeng glanced at his son.

Honestly, although his father was a good father, he still held a certain authority over the siblings. This glance sent a chill down the back of Ji Chen’s neck. 

He didn’t know why, but his father had never hit him since he was a child. He wasn’t even like his uncle, who would give him a smack on the head if he got angry, but he was just afraid of his father.
