TVCEO Chapter 66.2

Lin Qiao hesitated for a moment: “This is my first time here. I’m not very good at it…”

The girl nonchalantly took Lin Qiao’s arm and pulled her toward the playing area.

“It’s okay. It’s very simple. You’ll learn after playing a few rounds! Come on, come on!”

Frisbee is a team sport, and it’s definitely more fun when played with a group. Lin Qiao joined the group and played several games, sweating profusely.

The saying ‘life lies in movement’ is absolutely true. After a few games, Lin Qiao’s body, which had been sluggish from not exercising for a long time, suddenly became active. She felt energetic, and the things that had previously bothered her seemed insignificant; she put them all behind her.

“Luo Luo! Over here!”

On the field, Lin Qiao and her teammates cooperated perfectly, ultimately defeating their opponents 2-1.

“To play like this on your first try, it’s impressive, Lin Qiao!” Luo Luo gave her a thumbs up.

Luo Luo is the online name of the girl who dragged Lin Qiao into the group. Her real name is Luo Qing, and she is only eighteen years old. She lived nearby, and Lin Qiao only found out about her during their conversation at the competition.

On the way to the dressing room to change, Luo Qing was talking to her friends about tomorrow’s activities when she suddenly remembered something.

She asked Lin Qiao, “By the way, our fan club is going to pick up Ruan Ruan at the airport tomorrow. Do you want to come along?”

The Ruan Ruan they were talking about was Ruan Shenyi. Although Lin Qiao had been a fan of Ruan Shenyi for several years, she usually only supported her new dramas, concerts, and endorsements, and at most followed her offline events. She had never actually picked her up at the airport before, and she was eager to try.

“Is it okay?”

“Why not?” Luo Qing laughed heartily, as if she were already used to this kind of support.

“Do we need to prepare anything?”

Lin Qiao had always been a lone wolf when it came to following celebrities, and this was her first time doing something with a group of seventeen or eighteen-year-old girls, so she was inevitably a little nervous.

“Ruan Ruan doesn’t accept gifts, so please don’t prepare any! But a handwritten letter is fine; you can give it to her then!” She said, taking out her phone from her pocket.

“I’ve sent you the time and place via WeChat. Let’s meet at the airport entrance!”

In order to appear in front of her idol in the best possible light, Lin Qiao went to bed early and got up early, took a bath and burned incense, and spent three hours carefully preparing her outfit before she was finally satisfied. She then went to the airport an hour early.

She thought arriving an hour early was considered early, but to her surprise, the fan club members were already there, all sitting in an orderly fashion on the open space in the airport terminal, each with their own small stools.

Luo Qing waved enthusiastically at her as soon as she saw her.

“Wow! You look so beautiful today! This dress suits you perfectly! Your makeup is gorgeous too!”

It seems that children nowadays are all about praising each other. The way they greet each other is full of emotional value. While Lin Qiao had indeed dressed up carefully, being praised so lavishly in person made her a little embarrassed.

“Thank you!”

After thanking her, she quickly changed the subject: “Um… why is everyone here so early?”

“There are a lot of people when the flight lands, and it might cause congestion if we come in later!” Luo Qing explained to her.

Although the airport pick-up event was organized by the fan club, it was a small-scale event with fewer than twenty people in total, in order to avoid causing congestion at the airport, affecting other passengers, and causing Ruan Shenyi to be criticized.
