He approached, put his hand on Lin Qiao’s shoulder, bent down slightly, and looked her in the eye.

Tears fell like broken beads. Lin Qiao gently stroked his hand, choking back sobs: “You’ll know the truth, very soon.”

In an instant, the world seemed to spin. A sharp crackling sound of electricity rang in his ears. As if suspended in mid-air, Su Zhengxing suddenly felt breathless, and in a daze, it seemed as if clocks were spinning.

Lin Qiao took a deep breath, suppressing the throbbing pain in her heart and trying her best to appear calm, and shook his hand in return.
