Lin Qiao’s resume was rejected, which was unexpected but reasonable.
In her first three years of college, she had never participated in any internships, let alone summer social practice, and had no experience in campus activities.
Even if Su Zhengxing was a genius, he couldn’t create something out of nothing.
“So what have you been doing during your entire college life?”
Su Zhengxing was speechless.
“I’m in class! Isn’t it a student’s primary duty to study?” Lin Qiao felt aggrieved.
“Then, why is your GPA so low?”
Lin Qiao looked up, her eyes wandering, “Isn’t this because I haven’t learned it well enough?”
Now that things have come to this, it’s no use to worry about these things anymore. He must find another solution as soon as possible.
What Su Zhengxing didn’t know was that at the same time, in Baitian’s Human Resources Department, the gears of fate began to turn.
“Why is there a paper jam again? I didn’t put in many sheets this time!”
In front of the shredder of the Baitian Human Resources Department, a young long-haired female employee struggled to pull out the half-jammed paper from the shredder.
Another short-haired female employee, holding a pile of resumes, put the papers in her hands down at her feet.
“I’m speechless. Can’t Bald Qiang look at these resumes on the computer? He has to ask us to print them out.”
The long-haired female employee sighed, “Isn’t it the first day you know that Bald Qiang likes to act crazy? Isn’t it because his wife is in the CEO’s office?”
The Bald Qiang they are talking about is a small leader in the Human Resources Department of Baitian. Because his name contains the character ‘qiang’ (strong), the employees privately call him Bald Qiang1*光头强, Guāngtóuqiáng: Logger Vick (Boonie Bears character) / nickname for bald people.
“Stop talking, Bald Qiang is here.” The long-haired female employee reminded her in a low voice.
The short-haired female employee hurriedly picked up the paper resumes to be destroyed from the ground. But because of her panic, she accidentally lost her grip, so half of the stack of resumes fell to the ground.
Papers flew all over the floor.
“You…”
Bald Qiang opened his mouth to curse, but because of the HR Director next to him, he had to hold back his words and pretended to be enthusiastic in helping the female employee pick up resumes, “Be careful.”
Mr. Zhao didn’t pay much attention to this insignificant incident. He continued to politely say to the person next to him: “Mr. Su, I can just send your documents to your office. Why bother you to come here in person?”
Although Su Zhengxing is not in the country most of the time, he has always had a nominal position in Baitian. Everyone in the company knows his relationship with the Qin family, so they treat him with great respect.
“I just happened to drop by for something.”
Su Zhengxing said this while looking at the resume that fell to his feet. The girl in the photo was the one he met at Tsinghua University a week ago.
He bent down and picked up the resume that was only one page.
Lin Qiao?
“What is this?”
Su Zhengxing held the resume in his hand and asked Mr. Zhao, the Director of the HR Department, next to him.
Mr. Zhao glanced at Bald Qiang, who understood and immediately stepped forward to explain.
“Mr. Su, these are the resumes of interns from various universities that were submitted this year. We have completed the initial screening. The first round of interviews will be this morning, and the second round in the afternoon. We expect to complete the final round of interviews tomorrow morning.”
“Is she here for the interview today too?” Su Zhengxing asked.
“Ah, this…”
