It was unknown what was wrong with Zheng Yin. The knocking on the door outside the living room was getting louder and louder, almost tearing the door down!

Shutong was irritated by the sound and quickly answered the call after reaching for her phone.

“Shen Shutong! Are you fucking home?” Zheng Yin’s angry voice came from the phone.

“I’m at home…”

Both of them were startled.

Ji Chu paused, gently wiping away the tears from her eyes with his fingertips, his voice hoarse, “Why are you crying?”

If she looked at him like this normally, he would simply not go to work.

“Did you call the police?” Shutong asked.
