However, the program team quickly realized that these activities had not been reported, and they were afraid that something might go wrong during the recording.
So Old Qin also stopped filming and asked others to install sports cameras on the racing car.
Shutong didn’t feel very nervous at first, but after the program team intervened, she felt like she was going to a battlefield.
It was just driving for fun. How dangerous could it be?
Chu Fan got into the car quickly.
Having promised the program team to keep the speed below 100 km/h, the two didn’t change clothes; they just wanted to experience the car.
Chu Fan had an international racing license, so Shutong trusted him.
At the beginning, the car’s speed was only about 80 km/h, which was no different from being on a highway. However, Shutong had never ridden in this kind of modified car. The engine was very loud, and it was very close to the ground, so it was more exciting than an ordinary car.
Chu Fan was running laps with her at a leisurely pace.
Outside, Zhou Qingtian crossed his arms and laughed, “Oh my god, they really are just here for a stroll.”
It seemed that Chu Fan really cared about the little girl from the Lou family. He actually tinkered with his beloved car just to let her experience it.
He was about to leave when he suddenly heard another roar.
He turned his head and saw a car chasing Chu Fan’s car from the finish line.
The track had been cleared just now, and the program team had another car following close behind to film. That car brushed past Chu Fan’s car, slowing down next to it and driving almost right next to him.
Such provocation was something most people wouldn’t tolerate!
Zhou Qingtian was furious and wanted to jump off the track, but Chu Fan acted as if he hadn’t seen anything, continuing to drive at a leisurely pace, maintaining his speed at around a certain speed.
“What’s going on?”
Shutong tilted her head slightly to look out, only to see a car constantly tailgating them. It looked extremely dangerous, and there was even an invisible hostility coming from it.
Chu Fan didn’t even look and gradually slowed down when turning.
The other car suddenly accelerated, executing a clean drift and stopping in front of Chu Fan’s car—
Everything happened in a flash. Chu Fan slammed on the brakes, stopping just in front of the other car!
The tires rubbed violently on the track, making a screeching sound.
After that, the track returned to an eerie silence.
The program team’s car had stopped long ago. Everyone was stunned and frightened.
Old Qin quickly ran down carrying the camera, and the assistants behind him also quickly got out of the car and ran over!
Shutong’s heart was pounding, her eyes tightly shut. Only after everything quieted down did she open her eyes and exhale.
Chu Fan pursed his lips, his gaze falling on her. Instinctively, he patted her shoulder twice to comfort her, then fixed his gaze on the car opposite.
This person should be Lou Yu, who just won the championship. He remembered Zhou Qingtian saying that he was an extremely arrogant and indifferent person. Zhou Qingtian had failed to defeat him many times, and he never forgot to complain about him all day long.
But what did he mean by his actions just now?
Chu Fan rarely received such blatant provocation.
A man in a blue racing suit got out of the other car and slowly took off his helmet, but his eyes fell on Shutong.
Shutong glanced over, her expression stiffening slightly, then she gritted her teeth.
It turned out to be Lou Yu.
She looked at his healthy and intact legs and thought that he had completed rehabilitation and recovered his health after being abroad for a few years, so this was also good.
But his behavior just now…
“You know him?” Chu Fan sensed something, frowning as he recalled their surnames.
“My brother.”
Shutong didn’t want to cause trouble while the camera was still on, so she added, “He likes to play around. I guessed he was probably just joking with us again.”
Chu Fan simply hummed in agreement, his gaze sweeping over her face before leaning over to unbuckle her seatbelt.
This is not how you play. Neither he nor she was wearing any safety equipment. No matter how confident he was, he would not risk his life to accept the provocation just now.
Moreover, Lou Yu’s drift just now completely disregarded her safety. What kind of brother is he?
“Chu Fan, Tongtong, are you okay?” Old Qin knocked on the car window, and others quickly gathered around.
Chu Fan and Shutong got out of the car one after another, and Lou Yu was also kindly reminded by several staff members.
“It’s alright. Chu Fan drives very steadily, don’t worry.” Shutong smiled, no longer looking at Lou Yu.
The program team was a little dissatisfied and wanted to go to Lou Yu to negotiate, but Chu Fan said, “It’s getting late. Let’s go to the restaurant.”
Shutong nodded quickly, “Okay.”
Old Qin glanced in Lou Yu’s direction and noticed his sinister look. He felt that things were not that simple, but it was better to have less trouble than more, so everyone followed the two guests away.
Shutong walked a little faster and unconsciously reached out to hold Chu Fan’s hand.
Zhou Qingtian came forward and said, “F*ck! What does this lunatic Lou Yu want to do? Is he targeting you guys just because he’s targeting me?”
He even patted Chu Fan’s shoulder apologetically and said, “Brother, I’m sorry for causing you trouble!”
Chu Fan brushed his hand away, “You’re overthinking it.”
Shutong: “…”
She should be the one saying Zhou Qingtian’s words; she’d dragged Chu Fan into this.
Chu Fan gestured for Zhou Qingtian to deal with Lou Yu, then took Shutong’s hand and led her outside.
Shutong, remembering Lou Yu’s look earlier, felt uneasy and followed him absentmindedly.
Old Qin was originally very depressed, but after seeing this scene, he was immediately healed.
Ahhhh, they’re holding hands!
Shoot! Long shot, medium shot, close-up!!
Ahhh, that unexpected turn of events came just in time!
Their relationship has progressed by leaps and bounds!
He now suspected that the scene was deliberately arranged by Chu Fan!
