Although that area was numb, the effects of the drug continued to intensify.

Murky red flushed across Mu Liuyin’s fair skin. Her eyes fluttered shut as she struggled against the unbearable sensation.

The next moment, her body was lifted into the air—it was Chu Jiyu, pulling her out of the cold water-filled bathtub.

Mu Liuyin tried to push Chu Jiyu away, but her outstretched hand was weak, completely devoid of strength. Instead, it only added to the feeling of reluctant submission.

“Teacher, you’re so cute.”

Chu Jiyu placed a soft, warm kiss on her lips.

Mu Liuyin had no energy to curse her, so she could only let Chu Jiyu carry her back to the bedroom.

Dizzy and dazed, she was laid onto the bed. Then came the sound of Chu Jiyu removing her jacket.

Mu Liuyin struggled to open her hazy eyes, barely making out Chu Jiyu’s figure.

She was breathtakingly beautiful—but Mu Liuyin had no desire to admire her.

The fair-skinned beauty gave her a slight smile before approaching.

Chu Jiyu’s skin was cool and silky, smooth as the finest white jade.

Mu Liuyin instinctively wanted to distance herself, yet the unbearable heat within her made her long to be closer.

“Teacher, let me help you,” Chu Jiyu murmured in her ear.

Being called “Teacher” in such a way made Mu Liuyin flush with embarrassment. Furious, she snapped, “Shut up! Don’t call me that!”

But despite her harsh words, the drug in her system made her voice sound more like a kitten’s helpless whimper—completely devoid of any real authority.

Chu Jiyu chuckled lowly, her cool fingertips trailing slowly down Mu Liuyin’s spine.

What happened next seemed inevitable.

Mu Liuyin could distinctly feel Chu Jiyu’s gentle, unhurried movements. At times, she could also vaguely hear her husky yet tender voice.

In a whisper, Chu Jiyu said, “Ning Xi… I like you…”

“Don’t leave anymore… okay?”

Mu Liuyin’s consciousness drifted in and out. Even though she heard every word clearly, she couldn’t comprehend them.

Of course, even if she had been fully awake, she likely would’ve responded with silent rejection.

When she woke up the next day, it was already noon.

She yanked the blanket over her head, pretending she was still asleep.

Seeing her reluctance, Chu Jiyu lifted the blanket just enough to reveal her face. Then, she scooped up a spoonful of porridge, intending to feed her.

Mu Liuyin muttered, “…I can eat by myself.”

Chu Jiyu let out a soft “oh” and handed her the bowl—though her expression held a hint of disappointment.

Before drinking the porridge, Mu Liuyin warily asked Xiao Jiu if anything had been added to it.

Before Xiao Jiu could answer, Chu Jiyu immediately caught onto Mu Liuyin’s suspicion. She let out a helpless chuckle. “Teacher, there’s nothing in the porridge.”

Mu Liuyin: “…Heh.”

Only after Xiao Jiu confirmed it again did Mu Liuyin finally start drinking. When she finished, she expressionlessly muttered, “As awful as ever.”

Chu Jiyu wasn’t bothered by her sharp tongue. Heaven knew how ecstatic she had been yesterday when she finally got the person she had been yearning for over the past four years.

To be honest, she hadn’t intended for things to go that way. When she first drugged Mu Liuyin, she had planned to offer herself to her. She never expected Mu Liuyin to have absolutely no reaction to her.

Now, watching Mu Liuyin pretend to sleep after finishing her porridge, Chu Jiyu curved her lips into a slight smile. “Teacher, you have to take responsibility for me.”

What kind of student wants to sleep with their teacher?!

She opened her eyes and glared at Chu Jiyu, who looked completely unfazed—like this was the most natural thing in the world. The urge to slap her across the face was overwhelming.

Chu Jiyu, however, only gazed at her with a doting expression, as if saying, Whatever you say, it’s fine.

Mu Liuyin was so furious her teeth itched, but for now, she was powerless against this little brat who had outgrown her control.

That night, Chu Jiyu shamelessly slipped under her covers, completely ignoring any sense of feminine restraint.

Feeling the warmth of their skin touching, Mu Liuyin ordered her, “Go sleep in your room. You’re not allowed to sleep here.”

Chu Jiyu blinked innocently. “But this is my room.”

Mu Liuyin let out a cold laugh. “Then I’m leaving.”

Before she could act on it, Chu Jiyu wrapped an arm around her and lightly patted her on the butt. “Don’t make a fuss.”

Mu Liuyin’s face turned red. She glared at Chu Jiyu, seething, but the other girl simply shut her eyes as if ready to sleep. Feeling the firm hold around her waist, Mu Liuyin took stock of her physical state and reluctantly swallowed her anger, forcing herself to sleep.

Damn it! Why didn’t I throw more chalk at her back when she dozed off in class?!

When she woke the next morning, she was alone in bed.

On the bedside table, there was a note, a steaming bowl of porridge, and a set of sleepwear.

Mu Liuyin picked up the note. It was from Chu Jiyu, saying she had gone to work and would return at noon to cook for her. She had also prepared the sleepwear for her to wear.

Mu Liuyin tossed the note back onto the table. She felt much better than yesterday and tried to get out of bed—only to hear the soft chime of bells as soon as she moved.

Lifting the blanket, she froze.

Both of her ankles were shackled with silver chains, each adorned with small silver bells that jingled with every slight movement. The other ends of the chains were securely fastened to the foot of the bed.

Her face instantly darkened.

Any plans of escaping had just gone up in smoke.

She put on the sleepwear and carefully got out of bed, realizing that the chains were long enough for her to walk into the bathroom inside Chu Jiyu’s bedroom.

Mu Liuyin: “…”

That wasn’t exactly good news.

She searched every reachable corner within her limited range, but there was nothing sharp enough to break the chains. That meant, for now, there was no way to remove them—let alone escape.

Just then, Xiao Jiu hesitated before weakly reminding her in her mind, Uh… Host, the target, has installed surveillance cameras throughout the entire house.

Mu Liuyin: “…”

The realization that Chu Jiyu—who was currently at work—could see everything, including her wearing this ridiculous sleepwear, made her expression go completely blank.

Chu Jiyu had thought of everything. Not only had she physically restrained Mu Liuyin’s movement, but she had also ensured that the only clothing available to her was this sleepwear—without even providing her with underwear.

There was no way to contact the outside world. No electronic devices. And surveillance cameras everywhere.

Under these circumstances, escaping was impossible.
