The ship fell silent in an instant.

Ji Hua University had three libraries. The medical school’s library wasn’t the largest, but it had the most comprehensive collection of medical books and the most comfortable study environment.

At this moment, however, two people were sitting inside that very library, looking troubled. One was the sender of the email, Pan Yuechen, a Beta male and a clinical medicine graduate student. The other was Yue Zhen, an Alpha male, and they were classmates.

Pan Yuechen and Yue Zhen were usually quite busy, so they really couldn’t understand what Principal Li was thinking.

Their biochemistry class was taught by him, and to be fair, he was an industry giant, an excellent teacher whom they all admired. But asking them to tutor Yuan Yi? That was beyond them. An art student switching to medicine? How much fake liquor did he drink?

Pan Yuechen couldn’t wrap his head around it. “How much do we even have to teach him for him to pass the transfer exam?”

Yue Zhen shrugged. “What else can we do? Professor Li already asked us, so we can’t just refuse. But from the way he talked, it didn’t seem like he was particularly optimistic about Yuan Yi transferring either. My guess is he just doesn’t want to outright crush the kid’s confidence.

“So if Yuan Yi actually comes to us, we’ll teach him. If he can follow along, we keep going. If not, he’ll realize on his own that it’s hopeless. Besides, we might not even be the ones he ends up asking for help.”
