When Nie Yunshen’s phone rang, he had just finished unbuckling half of Shu An’s belt.
After a weekend of fermentation, everything that could be resolved regarding the Luo Tianmin incident had been settled. However, as the Risk Management Director of the Corporate Loan Department, Nie Yunshen needed to submit a final summary report on the matter. Consequently, he spent two full days busy after starting work for the new week; it wasn’t until Wednesday, which was the final deadline for the report, that everything was wrapped up after 8:00 PM. After clicking submit on the system, Director Nie let out a slow sigh of relief.
Bank F never forced its employees to work overtime so when his new boyfriend, Boss Shu, knocked and entered, the outer office was already deserted with only the lights in Nie Yunshen’s room still on.
Director Nie looked up and, upon seeing Shu An, raised an eyebrow in silent inquiry.
Shu An closed the door behind him, “I ran into Director Du downstairs. He said everyone had left and only you were still working late. He sent me into the elevator and told me to hurry up and rescue you.”
Nie Yunshen chuckled as he tiredly pinched the bridge of his nose as he stretched out his legs and leaned back: “Mhm, I actually am a bit hungry.”
Shu An approached before leaning down to kiss him with natural intimacy. After their lips met and lingered for a moment, he asked with a smile, “So do I have the honor of having dinner with you?”
Nie Yunshen tilted his head back and licked his lips; such brief, light contact felt like a feather brushing past, far from satisfying. He naturally slid a hand to the back of Shu An’s neck, guiding him, half by force, into a deeper, more lingering kiss. He drew Shu An’s lips into his own, sucking firmly as his tongue pushed straight inside. After a few slick circling strokes, his breathing began to turn unsteady.
Forget dinner, there was a choice piece of meat right here.
Nie Yunshen tightened his arms and pulled Shu An onto his lap, but he hadn’t expected Shu An to offer zero resistance. He had originally only wanted a rougher, closer contact, but Shu An lifted his long legs and straddled him directly.
And so, the two of them pressed together into a large swivel chair, locked in a heated kiss as Nie Yunshen became hard without a moment’s hesitation.
They didn’t actually do much else at Shu An’s house over the weekend. Shu An took him for a tour around the old residence, sharing stories from his childhood and youth. There was a basketball hoop in the backyard, feeling inspired, Nie Yunshen spun a ball on two fingers. Shu An simply changed clothes with him and the two of them played an exhilarating game.
Later, Shu An cooked a meal himself. Nie Yunshen was amazed and asked where Shu An had picked up the cooking skill. Shu An smiled and said, “After all, I spent ten years in the UK…”
Understood.
After dinner, Nie Yunshen said he needed to go to the hotel to get his car and Shu An drove him there. The two had a tacit understanding not to get too clingy but in the parking lot, just before Nie Yunshen got out of Shu An’s car, he heard his name called from behind.
“Nie Yunshen.”
The man turned around to see Shu An staring at him intently so he gave a wicked smile.
“Don’t worry, I’ll take responsibility for you,” he said, intentionally pausing for a few seconds before adding, “We agreed you’d let me fuck you. Just wait for Nie Ge to grace you with his favor.”
The arrogant, wicked laughter from that moment was just like the rising lust in their current kiss, completely undisguised.
Nie Yunshen’s breathing grew heavy as he slid his hand under the hem of Shu An’s shirt before pulling it out with force as his palm rubbed back and forth over the clearly defined muscle lines. He was somewhat obsessed with the solid feel of Shu An’s body; the man in his arms maintained a level of self-control over his emotions and physique that bordered on the perverse; he was too beautiful, too perfect. It inspired an intense desire to ravage him.
Beneath his dress pants, “Little Nie” had already pitched a massive, distinct tent, arrogantly prodding against Shu An’s backside.
In this position, Shu An sat slightly higher than Nie Yunshen while looking down as they shared a sticky, wet kiss. After parting over the weekend, both had been busy and hadn’t seen each other for two or three days, yet it felt like many years had passed. Over the last decade, they hadn’t felt much apart, but now they couldn’t stand the separation at all. Nie Yunshen’s touch had Shu An panting as well, heat racing wildly through his veins.
Nie Yunshen agonized for two seconds over the safety of their current location but a soul-hooking low moan from Shu An left him spellbound and he reached directly for the other party’s waist. No one could possibly come by at this hour; Director Nie decided to take the risk.
He forcefully yanked open the belt around Shu An’s waist, and just as he was about to unbutton the pants, the phone on the desk rang earth-shatteringly loud!
Nie Yunshen was jolted awake from his fervor, his gaze, which was still burning with desire, snapping fiercely toward the desk. The caller ID displayed on the screen was: Feng Hao.
That day, he and Shu An had vanished from the party together, completely forgetting to say goodbye to anyone else. His phone had eventually died and shut off; Shu An might have even done it on purpose as he hadn’t reminded him all the next day that such a thing as a mobile phone even existed in this world.
It wasn’t until he left the Shu residence that he realized he had been off the grid for nearly twenty-four hours. After charging his phone at home, he found several missed calls from Feng Hao from the night before, along with a string of WeChat messages asking, “Where’d you go?” “Are you okay?” “Did you get wasted again…”
Feeling a bit guilty, Nie Yunshen had returned the call only to be ruthlessly mocked for his alcohol tolerance the moment Feng Hao picked up. For some reason, Feng Hao assumed that since Nie Yunshen was drunk, Shu An had just taken him home first. Nie Yunshen had hummed in vague agreement. Then, Feng Hao changed the subject by asking, “Is your relationship with Boss Shu pretty good now?”
That question had caused Nie Yunshen to hesitate, unsure for a moment whether to tell his best friend about his current “fascinating” relationship with Boss Shu. Meanwhile, Feng Hao had already continued on his own: “At the party yesterday, I asked Shu An for a favor to see if he could help secure a suitable piece of land in a second or third-tier city for a cold-chain factory. He agreed quite readily but I’m leaving in a few days. Being so far away, I might not be able to pin him down so since you’re close by, help me give him a nudge if you get the chance.”
Nie Yunshen had agreed to the request. Finally, Feng Hao mentioned they should grab a meal before he left, with the time to be determined later.
And now, that “notification” has arrived.
Nie Yunshen stared at the frantically vibrating phone for a full half-minute before finally withdrawing his hand from Shu An and reaching out to answer it.
Once he swiped the screen, the voice on the other end came through crystal clear. Feng Hao blurted out immediately, “Babe, Daddy’s flying out tomorrow morning. Tonight’s my only free time to grab dinner with you!”
A faint smile curved on Shu An’s lips. He shifted his head slightly to rest it on Nie Yunshen’s shoulder but showed no intention of getting up.
Nie Yunshen took a deep breath before he could speak with some semblance of composure. With one arm still wrapped around Shu An’s waist, trapped in a maddening stalemate where he could neither advance nor retreat, he wished he could haul Feng Hao through the phone and bite him to death.
“Heh, and what do you plan on treating ‘Daddy’ to?”
“My treat, your bill, you can eat whatever you want! Hurry up and pick a place. I’ve been haggling with clients all day to finish my business, and I even turned down another dinner party just to save this slot for you!”
Nie Yunshen’s mouth twitched. After a moment’s thought, he gave the address of a high-end private kitchen. Feng Hao readily agreed and said he’d head over immediately but just before hanging up, he suddenly muttered, “Actually, I also wanted to invite Boss Shu, but I didn’t think I had enough face for that. I was afraid he wouldn’t come.”
Nie Yunshen subconsciously glanced at Shu An, while the person with disheveled clothes on top of him wore a faint smile, winked, and mouthed the word “Okay.”
So, Nie Yunshen thought for a moment and said, “I’ll set up the appointment for you.”
Back in their school days, Feng Hao was the most famous “lost cause” with directions among their circle of friends; Nie Yunshen hadn’t expected the guy to show no improvement even after living in the other hemisphere for so long. He and Shu An had been waiting in a private room at the restaurant until nine o’clock, even the tea had lost all its flavor. Growing impatient, he called him only for the other end to say he didn’t know where he had ended up, suggesting they should just order and eat first, and asking if Boss Shu had been reached yet.
Having had his “good business” interrupted and being famished to boot, Director Nie gave an emphatic “Pah!” and hung up the phone immediately.
His face was as black as the bottom of a pot. Shu An reached over to ruffle his hair while watching his irritable, contorted expression with some amusement. After a moment’s thought, Shu An leaned in to kiss him.
Nie Yunshen usually disliked being touched when he was in a bad mood, so he instinctively dodged for a second before freezing.
Shu An’s lips were both soft and warm; they met his face and grazed the corner of his mouth soothingly. Nie Yunshen’s erupting anger subsided slightly, though he kept his face stern. Shu An gave a small laugh and took Nie’s lip between his teeth.
Shu An toyed with him by lightly biting his lip. Nie Yunshen somewhat helplessly pressed back in response. As the friction grew increasingly tender and lingering, the metaphorical thorns all over Nie Yunshen’s body gradually smoothed out, and then, the door to the private room swung open.
Feng Hao stood at the doorway looking completely bewildered with a waiter standing behind him.
Nie Yunshen was dazed for a few seconds. The only one who reacted in time was Shu An, who calmly sat back in his seat.
Feng Hao looked at the pained expression on Nie Yunshen’s face, then at Shu An’s indifferent demeanor, unable to tell for a moment who exactly was taking advantage of whom.
His mouth hung open, then opened again, until Nie Yunshen slammed the table and roared with a dark face, “Sit!” Only then was he suddenly jolted out of his petrified state before walking in and sitting down with stiff, uncoordinated limbs.
Nie Yunshen cleared his throat and scribbled down orders on the menu. As the waiter exited, they tactfully closed the private room door behind them.
Feng Hao’s expression was complex. After a long silence, he spoke cautiously, “Um, can someone explain…”
“No!” Nie Yunshen’s voice was loud.
Feng Hao gave a dry laugh. “Okay, Dad.”
Shu An burst out laughing.
Nie Yunshen lifted both hands to his face and rubbed hard several times before letting them fall, looking utterly drained as he squinted at Feng Hao through half-lowered lids. “No, you’re my ancestor.”
Feng Hao observed the expressions of the two men intently, his eyes darting back and forth without a word. Nie Yunshen’s mouth twitched as he said slowly, “Yeah, it’s exactly what you saw.”
Three bold question marks floated over Feng Hao’s forehead. What did I see… I saw you two gnawing on each other. No, I get that part, what I want to know is why two people who have nothing to do with each other are sticking together like glue!
With a hint of a smile on his lips, Shu An didn’t say a word from start to finish. Feeling worn out and confronted with Feng Hao’s gossip-hungry expression, Nie Yunshen began to offer a vague account to placate his friend’s curiosity.
The dishes on the table had barely been touched but another entire bottle of alcohol had been finished, most of it down Feng Hao’s throat. By the end, he patted Nie Yunshen’s shoulder with great emotion and said, “Old Nie, I don’t know if I should say this, but fine, I’ll say it anyway. Back then, I felt that the way you targeted Boss Shu in everything was exactly like someone trying to get attention…”
Nie Yunshen grabbed a dessert and stuffed it into Feng Hao’s mouth, even pressing down hard with significant force.
Feng Hao coughed violently, his face turning beet red as he punched Nie Yunshen’s shoulder with a heavy thud. Nie Yunshen laughed wickedly while Feng Hao gripped his shoulder, dug the bun out with his other hand, and turned to look at Shu An. He stared with bleary, drunken eyes for a while before saying with utmost seriousness, “Boss Shu ah, Shu An. Old Nie is a sincere guy, but his temper is like a dog’s; back in my hometown, we’d call him a ‘silly roe deer.’ You’ve got to treat him well.”
Shu An smiled as he glanced at Nie Yunshen and raised his teacup toward Feng Hao.
“He isn’t silly. I like him.”
Nie Yunshen let out a hum from his nose, looking quite proud.
Och !!! Xuan, dzięki za dodatki …. 🙂
