For three days straight, using “recovering from injuries” as her excuse, Fengguang stubbornly didn’t step out of the room once. Ming’an quietly moved all her clothes over from the dorm, so she finally no longer had to live in nothing but his oversized shirts. Soon enough, it was another rest day—a legitimate time to take a break.
But one phone call made Fengguang feel like she was facing a major crisis.
Her foot had already healed, and her internal injuries were mostly recovered. Right now, she was rushing around the room, stuffing her clothes into a suitcase.
Ming’an leaned against the doorway for a while, watching her frantic movements. Then he walked over, bent down, and hugged her from behind as she crouched on the floor packing.
Fengguang was anxious and snapped, “If you’re not going to help, at least don’t stand here getting in my way.”
“You’re too tense.” He lowered his head, tugged the collar of her dress slightly aside, and pressed a kiss onto her smooth, pale shoulder.
Tilting her head slightly, she could see him gently sucking on her shoulder, and her face flushed again. Over the past few days, any intimate move from him triggered obvious physical reactions in her. Part of it was because they had already completed the ritual, and another part was because she now relied on his blood to live.
Between a vampire and the one they fed, there was always a natural attachment. Fengguang wasn’t Ming’an’s servant, but because of their feeding bond, she found herself unable to suppress her growing feelings for him.
She placed a hand over his cheek. “Ming’an… stop making trouble for me.”
“I’m just helping you relax.” After successfully leaving a hickey on her shoulder, his kisses drifted to her neck, gently sucking, while his arms wrapped around her waist to keep her from slipping away.
Fengguang let out a breath, her face red. “My parents are coming soon. I have to move back to the dorm before they get here.”
“No rush. Without my permission, they can’t even enter the school gates.”
A serious riot had broken out on campus a few days earlier, but the news had been tightly contained. Until the investigation was complete, no one was allowed to disclose anything to outsiders—including parents.
Someone had somehow notified the Xia couple. They had suddenly called Fengguang today. Even though she insisted on the phone that she was fine, her parents were still determined to come see her.
Her breathing grew heavier. “Ming’an… if my parents are kept outside the gates too long, they’ll get suspicious… mm…”
It was his hand…
She quickly raised her arm and bit down on it to stop herself from making any more sounds. Even now, she didn’t understand why he seemed endlessly fascinated with making her body feel pleasure.
He whispered in her ear, “Does it feel good?”
“…Mm.” She nodded, her face burning.
When it came to things like this, she had always been honest.
“Then don’t be in such a hurry to leave me,” he said. “We still have time. I’ll make you feel even better.”
Fengguang let out a long breath, looking utterly helpless, as though she had given up resisting. Turning around, she wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned in, taking the initiative to kiss his lips.
