Wen Xian smiled and said calmly, “At this school, after all, only Student Xia’s status can be compared with Situ You’s.”

Before Fengguang arrived, Situ You’s noble bloodline made him the highest authority among the vampires. Because of the constraints of the blood hierarchy, no one could oppose him. Now that Fengguang was here, however, it was hard to say whether the A Division students would start forming factions and splitting into two camps—and that would not be good for the school’s stability.

“Don’t worry. I’m not as childish as Situ You,” she said, offering reassurance first. Then she looked up at him. “You’re a hunter, right?”

She was much shorter than he was, so Wen Xian had to lower his gaze to meet hers. The corner of his lips curved slightly. “That’s right.”

“This is actually my first time meeting a hunter… it feels pretty strange.” As a vampire, she was naturally sensitive to hunters. “Okay.” She waved. “Goodbye.”

Wen Xian gave a slight nod and then turned to leave.

Watching his retreating figure, Fengguang thought to herself that there was no need to rush—she could take things slowly. She turned back to look at the European castle–style dormitory, dragged her suitcase inside, and entered.

There were quite a few people in the lobby. The moment Fengguang walked in, everything fell silent. With remarkable unanimity, every pair of eyes fixed squarely on her.

Fengguang sensed the room: everyone here was an A- or B-rank vampire. Situ You was nowhere to be found; she could not detect the presence of any other pureblood besides herself in this building.

Satisfied, she smiled and casually pointed at a boy. “You. Come here.”

The boy, who had been chewing on a chocolate bar, stiffened all over. He walked over, trembling as he asked, “What do you need, my lady…?”
