“Really?” Suva rose and walked to her side, gazing up at the round moon as well. “To me, it doesn’t look any different than before.”

Amused, Suva asked, “Different how?”

She froze. “What did you just say?”

“A surprise?”

“No… more like a shock.”

“That’s close enough.” A light smile curved across his lips. “Only the finest osmanthus tree in the Three Realms can make the best osmanthus cakes. Giving it to you is more than fitting.”

She froze. Not exactly—she was just thinking that since she had eaten the osmanthus cakes he made, she’d feel guilty if something bad happened to him because of it. She was about to explain, but he suddenly pulled her wrist and drew her straight into his arms. The familiar masculine scent enveloped her, and her heart fluttered uncontrollably.

“Even if you’ve lost your memories, you still care about me,” Suva murmured, resting his chin lightly on her head, his eyes filled with quiet joy. “Fengguang, deep down, I’m still in your heart.”
