“Just because we said a few words doesn’t mean we’re friends,” Fengguang didn’t quite understand his thinking, but she found it amusing. “Do you need friends that much?”

“I don’t have any friends.”

She froze. “No friends?”

“Maybe… I did have some before.” Maybe he had them, maybe not, and he wasn’t sure.

Fengguang saw this as the sorrow of a celebrity. Even though becoming a big shot in the entertainment industry meant endless glory, behind the scenes, true friends might be hard to come by. She could relate, and it didn’t seem strange to her. She at least had Liu Han by her side, but Yu Shu seemed to be in a worse situation.
