“Ahem, he’s just… sick.” Guo Ming didn’t dare look at Feng Guang. “It’s just a regular cold.”

Feng Guang’s intuition told her something was off, but as if afraid she’d ask more, Guo Ming immediately grabbed Summer and started looking at the paintings on the wall, even though he didn’t understand art. Feng Guang silently followed behind them, her heart unable to settle.

Suddenly, Summer’s voice rang out, “Isn’t this painting from my sister?!”

“What?” Guo Ming was surprised. “The signature here says Zhen Xiaoren.”

“Zhen Xiaoren is my teacher! This painting was a gift from my sister! Recently, he even borrowed it from me to take a look!”

Feng Guang snapped out of her thoughts and, upon seeing the painting titled Growth on the wall, stood frozen for a moment. The large tree in the moonlight was the one she had given to Summer not long ago, but in the bottom-right corner of the painting, Zhen Xiaoren’s name was stamped over it.

Because of Summer’s outburst, many people gathered around, whispering among themselves. Feng Guang didn’t pay attention to any of it, and soon a middle-aged man in a suit hurried over.

Summer immediately confronted him, “Teacher Zhen, this painting belongs to my sister! Why did you write your name on it?”

“Oh, it’s Summer! What are you talking about?” Zhen Xiaoren said with a kind smile. “Today is the day of my exhibition, it’s very important to me. You can’t just accuse me because I once punished you for copying homework, can you?”

“I’m not making things up!”
