TSFLIP Chapter 130

Feng Guang: “…”

Man: “…”

A deathly silence.

“Woof! Woof!” Finally, Da Huang broke the silence.

Feng Guang never expected this person to be Ou Xun, but she still slapped him. Ou Xun looked completely bewildered, only to hear the person on top of him scolding angrily, “Are you even a man? Heartbroken? Broke? Failed an exam? What obstacle could be so unbearable? Just because of a little setback, you’re thinking of dying? Have you ever considered how your parents would feel?”

“I’m an orphan.”

Feng Guang’s throat caught, but she quickly recovered. “Have you ever thought about how your friends would feel?”

“I don’t have many friends.”

This guy isn’t playing by the rules!

“Anyway… committing suicide is just wrong!” Feng Guang raised her voice, making it clear that no one should dare to argue with her. “There’s no obstacle in life you can’t overcome. Right now, you’re facing a setback and feeling hopeless, but in ten or twenty years, you’ll realize it’s nothing. Life can get worse—no, wait—life is full of endless possibilities! Think about it, society needs us, our country needs us, and your future wife and kids will need you too!”

Her speech was so passionate that Ou Xun suddenly felt that interrupting her would make him some kind of villain.

But, considering the awkward position they were in, he still had to say something. “You…”

“Ah! You pervert!” Feng Guang screamed, slapping the other side of his face. Clutching her chest, she scrambled off him and quickly moved several steps away.

Ou Xun stood there speechless. He wasn’t good at dealing with people, and in this situation, he felt like the victim, but he didn’t know what to say. So, he stayed silent, picked up the items scattered on the ground, grabbed his backpack, and turned to leave.

A sharp voice called out from behind, “Hey, you’re just going to leave like that?”

He ignored her.

Feng Guang stomped her foot. “Stop right there!”

This time, he did stop—because a dog had bitten down on his pant leg.

Seeing that he still wouldn’t turn around, Feng Guang angrily walked up to him. “I just saved your life and gave you a heartfelt pep talk. Isn’t a word of thanks the least you could offer?”

“I wasn’t trying to kill myself.”

She didn’t believe him. “Really? Then what was that incredibly misleading action you were doing earlier?”

Ou Xun was silent for a moment, then took out the item he had just picked up and held it in front of her.

Feng Guang glanced at it. “What is this?”

“A weather vane.”

“I know what a weather vane is. It measures wind direction…” Her voice trailed off as she realized what was going on, but she wasn’t about to admit she was wrong. Shifting her gaze, she preemptively declared, “Alright, alright. As long as you’re alive, that’s what matters. Take care of yourself! It’s getting late, not safe out here. I’m going home now. Bye.”

Feng Guang turned and walked away, refusing to look at Ou Xun again. But after a few steps, something didn’t feel right. She glanced back and saw that her silly dog Da Huang was still clinging to his pant leg!

“Da Huang, time to go home for dinner!”

“Woof!” Da Huang happily bounded over to her side.

As the sun set, a figure and a dog gradually disappeared into the distance, though the figure seemed to be walking a little faster than usual.

Ou Xun’s hand moved ever so slightly. That strange sensation… it felt like he had never touched anything so soft before. The confusion only made him think more about the sensation from a moment ago.

His phone vibrated in his pocket, interrupting his thoughts. Ou Xun answered without checking the caller ID, knowing it could only be one person—his only friend and roommate.

Guo Ming’s voice rang out, “While I was out catching pets with my wife, how did you log off so fast? We were supposed to do that dungeon today! I gotta say, you’re too much of an introvert. No friends in real life, not many in the game either. And every time I take you to a social event, you’re always so disengaged…”

As usual, Guo Ming went on and on. After a few minutes of listening to him ramble, Ou Xun gave his standard reply in a calm voice, “Mm, I got it.”

Then he hung up without hesitation.

Although, I love this novel, but I do have to say, I’m not a fan of couples other than the main leads in a novel. And this novel does have some, which I don’t appreciate much.
