TSFLIP Chapter 1100

At last, Feng Guang’s voice began to tremble. “So… once the injury on my hand heals, you’re going to eat me?”

“That’s right.” Just two simple words, spoken as casually as if he were discussing the weather.

She finally understood why he had cared for her wounds so attentively. Perhaps every twisted mind shared a kind of obsessive compulsion—the need for the perfect prey. And now she understood something else as well: the one who truly had a taste for human flesh was not Nangong Zhe… but the man standing before her now, smiling at her so gently.

Qi Wei held her hand. Perhaps he truly didn’t understand why she had suddenly become afraid. Seeing her body still trembling, he asked softly, “Are you cold? Let’s go back to the dormitory.”

She remained silent and didn’t answer him.

At that moment, several other doctors in white coats arrived. Qi Wei merely glanced at them. “Clean this up.”

With that brief command, he led Feng Guang past the two corpses on the ground and headed toward the dormitory.

Feng Guang glanced back once. Those “doctors” were dragging away the bodies, while others were sealing up the hole in the wall. Perhaps that hole had taken the two dead men hundreds of days and nights to dig with the few tools they had. And those doctors… they weren’t really doctors, either.

This was a madhouse where everything had been reversed, like a human kingdom overtaken by monsters. And she… would she be a survivor, or another victim?

They returned to the dormitory, and Qi Wei brought her into his room. He took a coat from the wardrobe and draped it over her shoulders. Only after finishing did he smile and ask, “Are you still cold?”

“No…” She gripped the hem of her skirt tightly, though her heart felt frozen solid.

Qi Wei stroked the top of her head, his gentle smile warm as spring sunlight. “Next time you’re cold, you should tell me. If you get sick, I’ll worry.”

Suddenly, she thought it was the funniest joke in the world. Looking up at him, she saw the same elegant, gentle expression as always, and finally couldn’t stop herself from asking, “What exactly are we now? Hunter and prey?”

“I think… we should be lovers.”

She paused for a second. “Lovers?”

“Since I’ve already admitted that I like you, and you confessed your feelings to me before, if our feelings are mutual, shouldn’t we be lovers?”

She laughed too, but it was a bitter, self-mocking laugh. “You don’t understand what lovers even means.”

Once, she had thought she could win this man over and make him fall for her. But now she realized that was impossible. This man had no understanding of what was normal. He didn’t even realize the terror he inspired in her.

He still lived in his own world—a world no ordinary person could ever reach.

“I do understand.” His arm wrapped around her waist as he lowered his head, his lips brushing against her ear. His voice carried a lazy softness. “Everything lovers do together, I’ll do with you.”

“And then… you’ll kill me with your own hands.” There was not the slightest flutter in her heart. Her clear eyes held only calm detachment.

He reached up and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. “This world doesn’t deserve you, Feng Guang. Your beauty only needs one admirer, and that’s me.”

“You make it sound so noble, but in the end, all you want is to kill me.”

A kiss fell lightly at the corner of her eye as he whispered, “This isn’t killing. It’s our union.”
