Gui Fei called out as the Emperor left.

However, the Emperor did not stop.

“Your Highness?”

Gui Fei collapsed to the ground.

“Nanny, His Majesty knows.”

Tears welled up in Gui Fei’s eyes.

I think this Gui Fei is stupid.

Why should she lay a hand on those unfavored concubines?

She is a high-ranking concubine and has a princess and power in the harem.

Those unfavored concubines are not a threat to her.

Also, even if she has cleaned up her mess, there will still be a trace. Does she think she is the smartest and most powerful person in the palace?

She can just sit on her throne and watch the show; why should she dirty her hands?

It’s a different case if the one she fights is the concubine who has the Emperor’s favor, a high-ranking, and noble background, like our MC, Xu Lingyi.

But if she fights with those unfavored and lower-rank concubines, it would only demean herself.
