[QTC] MBDT Chapter 1765

“What is it?”

“I trouble you, Young Master Feng, to teach my son. While you are recovering, please teach him until you are fully healed and leave. How does that sound?”

Bei Yutang had considered it.

They would soon be moving to another place.

Once Xiu Hong’s matter was resolved, they would have to leave Linzhou Prefecture.

Looking for a tutor now might be too late. It was better to choose someone else. Young Master Feng before her seemed to be a learned man. With him teaching Xiao Zimo, he would surely be better than an ordinary tutor.

She had been busy with Xiu Hong’s matters and couldn’t attend to Xiao Zimo, so she had to entrust him to someone else’s teaching.

Feng Lihen had thought that it was something important, but now that she said it was this, he replied, “No problem.”

“Sorry for the trouble.”

Bei Yutang nodded slightly to him and headed toward the room, but after only two steps, she suddenly stopped, turned around, and said to him, “It’s late, you should rest.”

Feng Lihen turned his head, watching her departing figure, a faint smile curving his tightly pursed lips.

For the next few days, Bei Yutang busied herself teaching Xiu Hong about the etiquette and customs of the Southern Tang Kingdom. At the same time, two nannies were also instructing her.

Xiu Hong had never known that being a young lady of high birth was so arduous and that there was so much to learn.

“Sister Mu, why do I have to learn all these things?” Xiu Hong asked, confused.

“Although the Zhang family is a merchant family, their second young master is their most valued son. Marrying him is both easy and difficult. Your good family background will certainly be appreciated by your future husband’s family, making it easier for you to be accepted. Of course, your status only provides temporary convenience; your future livelihood will depend on your abilities. Whether you can gain a foothold in the Zhang family depends on your skills.”

“Managing a household is a skill that the daughters of officials must learn. I don’t expect you to be an expert, but you must know some.”

Bei Yutang was trying to prepare for the possible situations she might encounter in the future.

Hearing this, Xiu Hong felt a chill run down her spine, but thinking of the second young master, she could only grit her teeth and persevere.

Fortunately, Xiu Hong had good comprehension and learning abilities, so she quickly picked things up.

Bei Yutang’s requirements for her were not high; she only needed to know a little about everything and be able to talk about it. After all, she was marrying into a merchant family, not some noble household, so she could manage to fool them a bit.

While Xiu Hong was learning from her nanny, Bei Yutang, through Zhao Erhu, obtained information about Zhang Danfeng’s daily routine and hobbies and began orchestrating a series of chance encounters.

Actually, marrying Xiu Hong into the Zhang family was quite simple.

She only needed to approach Zhang Danfeng, explain her intentions, reveal his true sexual orientation, and use a transaction to make Xiu Hong his wife. However, this would mean there would be absolutely no affection between Zhang Danfeng and Xiu Hong.

Although this method was simple and effective, Bei Yutang abandoned it, opting instead for the most difficult method: making Zhang Danfeng fall in love with Xiu Hong.

Making a gay man fall in love with a woman was difficult, but even the most difficult thing had to be tried to see if it would work.

If it didn’t work, then the first method could be used.

After Xiu Hong had studied posture and basic aristocratic etiquette for three days, Bei Yutang decided to take her out.

Bei Yutang tossed a set of clothes in front of her.
