[QTC] MBDT Chapter 1674

“I thought it was something serious. Take this money first, and ask Dad for more when you’ve spent it all.” Bei’s father placed the money in Bei Yutang’s hand.

Bei Yutang felt the money in her hand weigh as heavily as a thousand pieces of gold.

Her heart warmed as she looked at her loving father, not the blood-covered corpse she remembered.

Bei’s father’s love for his daughter reminded her of her own father. He had also doted on her, loved her so much, and treated her even better than he had treated her brother.

In this life, she would never let Qian Minghao hurt him again, never let him die in vain.

Bei Yutang suppressed her emotions and said softly, “Dad, this money isn’t enough.”

Bei’s father was taken aback: “Not enough? How much do you need?”

“Thirty thousand.” Bei Yutang stated her minimum budget.

Bei’s father looked at her in surprise: “Tangtang, what do you need so much money for?”

Although the Bei family’s living conditions weren’t as wealthy as before, they could still afford this amount.

Bei Yutang didn’t want to lie to him, but she couldn’t tell him that she was planning to invest in stocks. If she told him the truth, he definitely wouldn’t agree.

“I have something very important to do. I can’t tell you the specifics right now, but don’t worry, Dad, it’s definitely not something illegal or immoral.” Bei Yutang assured him, raising her hand.

Just when Bei Yutang thought that she would have to explain further, Bei’s father surprisingly agreed.

“Dad will give you 30,000 yuan. But I don’t have that much money on me today. I’ll get it for you tomorrow.”

Bei Yutang shook her head: “No need, no need. Dad, just give me your old bank card.”

According to securities law, only those 18 years of age or older can open an account. She is only 17 now and won’t turn 18 for another five months, so she can’t open an account independently and has to use her father, Bei Lizong, account.

That night, Bei’s father gave Bei Yutang a bank card with 30,000 yuan already transferred in.

After receiving the bank card, Bei Yutang immediately began trading.

After finishing, Bei Yutang remained engrossed in the stock market until late at night before turning off her computer. The next morning, as soon as the stock market opened, Bei Yutang invested all 30,000 yuan in the stocks she had previously chosen.

Now she was just waiting for them to double in value. Meanwhile, after obtaining Bei Yutang’s consent, Bei’s mother began processing her school enrollment procedures.

Bei’s mother entered the room with a pile of review materials: “Tangtang, you’re starting school next week. Mom got these materials from your aunt. You can take a look.”

“Okay.”

This was what Bei’s parents wanted, so she naturally wouldn’t let them down.

Bei’s mother was very pleased to see her daughter studying diligently.

In the days that followed, Bei Yutang became a student again. The knowledge in the textbooks was very simple for Bei Yutang, requiring little effort from her.

Bei Yutang used her phone, constantly buying and selling stocks.

The original 30,000 had, after this period of trading, become 100,000.

This was a good result for other beginners, but for Bei Yutang, it was far from good.

One hundred thousand yuan—too little, still too little.

If she had had one million yuan as capital, her assets would be four million yuan now.

Ultimately, it was the lack of capital that prevented her from making a lot of money.

This feeling confirms the saying…
