“A gift?” Bei Yutang couldn’t help but smile.
When did this guy prepare a gift?
He didn’t even tell her last time.
Was he planning a surprise for her?
Bei Yutang was actually looking forward to what gift he had prepared for her.
“Sister-in-law, please wait a moment. The gift will be delivered soon.” Wan Lin said with a smile.
Bei Yutang waited patiently.
“Sister-in-law, the gift has been sent to your email.”
What was this mysterious thing?
Bei Yutang opened her email and found only a video. She clicked on it and saw Chen Feifeng being kidnapped by several gang members.
“What’s going on?” Bei Yutang asked suspiciously.
“When Sister-in-law was in danger on the Thailand-Myanmar road, it was Chen Feifeng who hired the local Black Snake Gang. We led another gang’s leader to wipe them out and shift the blame onto Chen Feifeng. I imagine he’ll have a bad ending after falling into their hands.”
Wan Lin continued, “We were worried that the Black Snake would be exposed to the truth after the confrontation with Chen Feifeng, so we wanted to create a plausible and reasonable excuse to dissuade the Black Snake from believing in Chen Feifeng. It just so happened that you, Sister-in-law, were behind all this, and that solved the problem.”
“My manipulations?” Bei Yutang raised an eyebrow.
They’d dug up all of this; it seemed they were quite capable.
She had done everything that she could to conceal her involvement, but she hadn’t expected it to be discovered.
Wan Lin seemed to know what she was thinking and explained, “Sister-in-law, the methods you’re operating behind the scenes aren’t something ordinary people can trace back to you.”
Bei Yutang listened to his words of comfort, but instead of feeling relieved, she felt a pang of frustration.
“Extraordinary people still can find out.”
Wan Lin was stunned and speechless for a moment.
“What will happen if he falls into Black Snake’s hands?” Bei Yutang changed the subject.
“Black Snake is a profit-seeking person. If Chen Feifeng is useful, they will definitely hold on to him and squeeze every last bit of his value.”
Bei Yutang whispered, “So, Chen Feifeng has been captured by Black Snake’s men, and they know that he’s useful?”
“Yes.”
Bei Yutang didn’t know much about Black Snake. If Chen Feifeng and Black Snake reached a deal, their efforts would be in vain.
Bei Yutang expressed her concerns.
Wan Lin said, “You can rest assured about this, Sister-in-law. A greedy man like Black Snake would never cooperate with Chen Feifeng. He would only use him as a slave.”
Wan Lin had long been active in the Thailand-Myanmar region and was well-versed in the local gangs and drug lords. He naturally understood Black Snake’s character.
“If it’s as you said, it would save me a lot of trouble. However, I still need to trouble you to keep an eye on him for me. In case Chen Feifeng resurfaces, we have to think of another countermeasure.”
Bei Yutang was still worried. After all, she couldn’t control the person if she handed him over to other people.

He had already helped her accomplish things before she knew it, protecting her under his wing.
