The proprietress said to Bei Yutang sheepishly: “Yutang, you stay here for the time being. When the room next door is tidied up, you can move there.”
“No need. This place is very good. Just clean it up, and it’ll be fine.”
Bei Yutang asked for the direction of the bathroom, got a rag, and started to tidy up the utility room.
