Thinking of the scenes in her past life where Lin’s father and mother were mocked both openly and covertly, a chill suddenly crossed Mu Yunge’s face.
She had been controlled by the crappy system for so many years, and she had lost face for Lin’s father and mother. This time, she would earn back their face!
At this moment, many of the classmates turned their attention to Lin Ke’er.
Because Lin Ke’er was originally multi-talented, she had always been very active in group activities like the cultural festival.
However, this time, Mu Yunge had little interest.
But when she saw everyone looking at her expectantly, Mu Yunge stood up and said, “I remember there are a few students in the class who are in the dance class and the drama club. Why not put on a stage play? I remember Li Qing’s play, ‘The Princess’s Knight’, is quite good.”
The play, with its Mary Sue and sentimental appeal, was quite popular among high school students.
In the original storyline, Lin Ke’er was the one who proposed the stage play.
Hearing Mu Yunge’s words, the classmates couldn’t help but look at Li Qing.
Li Qing rubbed her head sheepishly and then looked at the class monitor.
Seeing this, the class monitor’s eyes lit up, and he made the decision, “Alright! Let’s put on the stage play! Li Qing, assign the characters and make a list of costumes and props.”
Li Qing was naturally overjoyed to have her own play performed on stage. She excitedly and readily agreed.
In the original plot, the role of the princess naturally went to Lin Ke’er, while Mi Lan played the princess’s stepmother, who would eventually be doused with water by the emperor.
However, in order to force the cannon fodder to prank the heroine, the person who ended up dousing Mi Lan with water was Lin Ke’er, who was jealous of her.
Unfortunately, Mi Lan had her period that day, so Leng Mo, enraged, gave Lin Ke’er a severe beating.
After deciding on the theme for the cultural festival, Li Qing immediately listed the roles that needed to appear.
As for the princess, Li Qing still preferred Mu Yunge.
“Lin Ke’er, the role of princess suits you perfectly. Why don’t you play it?” Li Qing looked at Mu Yunge excitedly.
Honestly, among the girls in their class, only Lin Ke’er has the most aristocratic aura!
Hearing Li Qing’s words, the other students around them nodded in agreement.
“Lin Ke’er is perfect for the princess!”
However, Mu Yunge shook her head and said, “I’m sorry, but the role of princess requires a high level of dance skills. I can’t dance, so I’m afraid I won’t be able to handle it. You should find another classmate.”
“If you don’t know how, I can teach you!” The student in the dance special course immediately said.
Mu Yunge smiled gently and said, “Thank you. Although I love the role of the princess, I’m truly not up to the task. This is a matter of class honor, so please ask a capable classmate to perform. I can accompany you.”
Hearing this, Li Qing couldn’t force her and nodded.
As for the knight, Li Qing’s best choice was naturally Leng Mo.
Leng Mo initially didn’t want to accept, but then Li Qing suddenly said, “If you agree to play the knight, I’ll let Mi Lan play the princess. She’s in the dance class, so it’s perfect!”
Hearing this, Mi Lan’s heart skipped a beat. She looked at Leng Mo.
Leng Mo listened, thought for a moment, and nodded.
“If Mi Lan is the princess, then I agree.”
“Great!” Li Qing burst into laughter.
Although Mi Lan wasn’t her top choice, she was an excellent student in the dance class and would definitely have no problem dancing on stage.
Soon, the other roles for the stage play were decided, and the remaining students were assigned tasks: some were responsible for customizing costumes, others for composing the music, and so on.
