Lin Sheng drove Mu Yunge to the new company for a look around, then took her to the dance studio for rehearsals.
Initially, Lin Sheng felt the idea of a ‘Palm Dance’ was somewhat unrealistic, but after seeing Mu Yunge rehearse, he was completely excited.
This dance could definitely win the dance competition!
He had initially thought that he had taken on a troublesome artist, but now it seemed Xiang Nuan might be the most successful artist he had ever managed!
Meanwhile, while Mu Yunge was rehearsing, Ye Qianqian and Xi Jingcheng were making love in the villa.
Her soft, delicate body was never enough for Xi Jingcheng; he wanted nothing more than to meld Ye Qianqian into his own body.
At this moment, Ye Qianqian gently pushed Xi Jingcheng, her voice soft, “Jingcheng, I’m participating in the Dancing with the Stars competition in a few days. I need to recover my strength for rehearsals, so please don’t come, okay?”
Hearing this, Xi Jingcheng frowned slightly: “Can’t we postpone it?”
Ye Qianqian smiled helplessly, “The Dancing with the Stars is very popular right now. Participating in this program will benefit me. I’ve already agreed, and it’s the night after tomorrow.”
Xi Jingcheng could only say, “Okay, after the competition, you have to make it up to me.”
Ye Qianqian smiled shyly, “Well, don’t forget to watch the program then. I choreographed a classical dance.”
“Okay! I’ll definitely watch.” Xi Jingcheng said with a smile.
…
Three days passed quickly, and in the blink of an eye, it was time for the new round of the Dancing with the Stars competition to begin. After this round, the semi-annual competition would begin.
A total of thirty contestants entered this preliminary round. Of course, only Mu Yunge was admitted through Lin Sheng’s connections.
So when Mu Yunge appeared with her male dance partners, the other contestants looked at her with strange and disdainful eyes.
We all got in based on our abilities, but you used your privileges to cut in—have you no shame?
Mu Yunge ignored their strange looks and only asked the female assistant Lin Sheng had found for her, “Have all the items been checked?”
Hearing this, the female assistant quickly nodded, “It’s all been checked. There’s no problem.”
Mu Yunge nodded, then looked at the three male dancers and said to the makeup artist she had brought, “Start doing their makeup!”
The makeup artist quickly responded.
Meanwhile, the director began to call the contestants to draw numbers.
To ensure the fairness of the competition, the order of appearance for all contestants is determined only before the competition begins. Every contestant, including invited celebrities, must wear a mask so that the audience will not overlook the performances of other contestants because they particularly like one of them.
Mu Yunge’s luck wasn’t good; out of thirty contestants, she drew the last one.
By this time, the audience, having watched the competition for over two hours, was starting to experience aesthetic fatigue.
However, after glancing at her number, Mu Yunge calmly went to collect her name tag.
Upon discovering that Mu Yunge was in last place, the other contestants who disliked her couldn’t help but secretly breathe a sigh of relief. It seemed that Dancing with the Stars was relatively fair. Although this person had squeezed in, her luck was obviously not good. She was the last to perform, and the audience was already tired of seeing the competition. No matter how well she performed, what good would it do?
Meanwhile, Mu Yunge’s female assistant couldn’t help but look worried.
This was Xiang Nuan’s debut battle! Performing last was clearly a bad start.
However, seeing Xiang Nuan’s calm demeanor, the female assistant gradually calmed down as well.
