But before leaving, the old doctor also gave them a box of family planning supplies for free. He also gave them a few words of education: “Don’t even think about having surgery in the future. Regular use of condoms is better than anything else.”
Zhao Haoyang hugged the box of family planning supplies and thanked him repeatedly.
After leaving the hospital, Feng He shook off Zhao Haoyang’s hand and was a little angry: “Zhao Haoyang, do you think you are great?”
Zhao Haoyang knelt down quickly: “I’m sorry, I was wrong. I shouldn’t have been like this, and I too—”
“Don’t say it’s because of me. I can’t bear this.” Feng He said with a cold face, then left Zhao Haoyang, and walked away.
Zhao Haoyang hugged the box of family planning supplies and followed immediately.
But now he regrets it to death. His wife seemed to be really angry…

After Zhao Suisui and Zhao Jingcheng returned home, they were keenly aware that something was wrong with the atmosphere at home.
Because according to past practice, when Zhao Haoyang went to the kitchen to cook, Feng He would also go to help him.
But today, Zhao Haoyang was the only one who was busy in the kitchen.
Feng He sat alone at the table by the window, supporting her head with one hand and flipping through a book with the other.
Zhao Suisui looked at Feng He’s back and felt that her mother seemed a little unhappy.
She took off her small school bag, ran to Feng He’s side, and called: “Mom!”
Feng He heard Zhao Suisui calling her and realized that the two children were back.
Not wanting to reveal her bad emotions in front of the two children, Feng He adjusted herself. With a smile on her face, she said, “You’re back?”
Zhao Suisui wanted to climb up and sit on Feng He’s lap, but Feng He let her go and stretched out her hand to pick her up so that she could sit firmly.
After sitting firmly, Zhao Suisui faced Feng He, stretched out her little hand to hold Feng He’s face, and looked at her carefully. Then, she said: “Mom, are you unhappy?”
Feng He was stunned for a moment, pinched Zhao Suisui’s little face, and smiled: “Mom is very happy to see you now.”
Zhao Suisui let Feng He pinch her face and sighed a little in her heart, feeling that her mother was indeed unhappy.
But, she didn’t care. With Zhao Suisui here, she would definitely make her mother happy.
Zhao Suisui thought for a while and began to tell Feng He some interesting things in the school, trying to make her happy.
Zhao Jingcheng also put down his schoolbag and walked over. The two children came close to Feng He.
Zhao Haoyang prepared dinner in the kitchen and called them: “It’s time to eat.”
Feng He didn’t answer him, but she stood up and took the two children to wash their hands, saying, “Let’s go, wash our hands and eat.”
Zhao Haoyang looked at Feng He helplessly, but Feng He ignored him.
During the meal, Feng He did not talk to Zhao Haoyang. Instead, she picked up dishes for the two children from time to time and told them to eat more, which made Zhao Haoyang extremely envious.
After dinner, Feng He took the two children to do their homework, and Zhao Haoyang had no chance to speak.
Zhao Suisui was multitasking while doing her homework. She looked at Feng He and then at the anxious Zhao Haoyang who was sitting on the other side.
She finally discovered that her mother was angry with her father!
Just as she was thinking about it, Zhao Suisui was patted on the head by Feng He: “Do your homework carefully, or you won’t be able to have a share in the cream cake!”
Cream cake!
Zhao Suisui’s eyes lit up. Who cared who was angry with whom?
She held the pen and buried herself in her homework, writing quickly.
Ahhhh… Cream cake, here she comes!

Family Planning Policies of China (Part 3)
After Mao died in 1976, the policy evolved into the one-child policy in 1979, when a group of senior leaders decided that existing birth restrictions were insufficient to cope with what they saw to be an overpopulation crisis. But the one-child policy allowed many exceptions and ethnic minorities below 10 million people were exempt.
In late 2015, the remnants of one-child limits were lifted and reverted back to two-child limits as had been in place during the 1970s. And in May 2021, the Xi Jinping Administration formally introduced the three-child policy to replace the two-child policy. After only two months, in July 2021, the government removed all penalties for couples who have as many children as they want.
