MDMP Chapter 19.2

After Xu Man successfully divorced, she didn’t even want the children and left without looking back.

Lu Zhou originally lived with Grandpa Lu and Grandma Lu, but half a year ago, Lu Rong’s younger sister got pregnant and Grandpa Lu also fell ill.

When Grandma Lu was too busy to take care of them, Lu Rong offered to take the child to the army.

Grandma Lu thought that Lu Zhou had never seen his father a few times since he was so old, so she agreed.

But she was afraid that no one would take care of her grandson when he arrived in the army, so she urged Lu Rong to find another one.

Lu Rong promised well, but as soon as Lu Zhou was brought back, he started to push back and forth.

Lu Rong felt that boys could not be so delicate. There was food and drink in the army. Lu Zhou was already six years old and could already take care of himself.

Even if he went on a mission and had to leave for a while, the family compound would make arrangements for the children.

Therefore, Lu Rong had no worries at all when he took Lu Zhou into the army.

Grandma Lu was far away in the capital. Seeing Lu Rong’s unwilling attitude, she had no choice but to hesitate, so she had to write letters frequently to ask him to take good care of Lu Zhou.

After the movement, Feng He stayed behind closed doors most of the time to avoid suspicion. Grandma Lu only found out about the news after she joined the army.

Thinking that her son and Zhao Haoyang were in the same army, Grandma Lu immediately wrote a letter to Feng He, asking her to help look after Lu Zhou.

Feng He naturally agreed to this request.

In fact, even if Grandma Lu didn’t mention it, she had planned to do this.

When she was at school, Feng He originally wanted to ask Lu Zhou if he wanted to come with her.

As a result, before she had time to ask, Lu Zhou and his father didn’t know where they were going, so she had no choice but to give up.

A few minutes later, Feng He looked at the three notebooks picked out by Zhao Suisui and couldn’t help but twitch the corner of her mouth.

Aren’t those the books she had a hard time choosing from just now?

“Suisui, are you sure Zhouzhou will like these books?” Feng He asked.

“Brother Lu Zhou will definitely like it! It’s so beautiful!” Zhao Suisui really thought that the notebook she chose was beautiful, but she obviously still didn’t know that boys and girls had different aesthetics…

Feng He couldn’t resist her, so she had to take advantage of Zhao Suisui’s carelessness and picked out a few simple and generous books, thinking that if Lu Zhou didn’t like them, she could give them to him.

In the mall, Feng He bought notebooks, pencils, erasers, pencil cases, red scarves, and other various small stationery for her two children. The two children were so happy that they were holding their own portions.

After coming out of the mall, it wasn’t long before it was dinner time.

Feng He simply took the two children to a nearby state-owned restaurant for dinner. The chef of this state-owned restaurant cooked delicious food. The two children were very satisfied with the meal.

But what made them even more happy was that Feng He actually bought a bottle of orange soda for each of them!

Zhao Suisui sat on the chair and swayed her short legs. She was holding the soda glass bottle in her little hands, squinting her eyes, and taking a sip of the sweet soda.

She felt so happy! ❤️

But, this was not over yet.

Feng He found out the departure time of the car back to the army before setting off. There was still some time to wait, so she took her two children for a stroll on the street.

When passing by a pastry shop, the two children were so attracted by the overbearing fragrance that they couldn’t walk.

Looking at the expectant looks in Zhao Suisui and Zhao Jingcheng’s eyes, Feng He said amusedly: “Let’s go in and have a look.”

As soon as the two children heard her words, they immediately ran in cheeringly.
