MGIM Chapter 218.2

Qi Zeming looked down at Tian Mi, thought for a moment, and said, “You just need to explain that we have not canceled the engagement later. About the illegitimate child…”

Qi Zeming paused: “It’s true. The paternity test results were obtained half an hour ago.”

“So, is what the magazine said true? That, you, how about the mother of the child? Is it to marry you? Since that is your child, you should take him back to the Qi family, right? What about the child’s mother? Later I said that we did not cancel the marriage contract, is that okay?” Tian Mi asked worriedly, looking at Qi Zeming with eyes full of concern.

“Ding– The male lead’s favorability degree is +10, and the favorability is 35. Host, come on!”

“Don’t worry. I will take care of other things.” Qi Zeming softened his voice and rarely looked good toward Tian Mi.

He nodded to Su Ziqing again and then pushed Tian Mi onto the stage.

Su Ziqing looked at the backs of the two of them. His eyes darkened. He turned around and found a corner to sit down.

At the beginning of the press conference, reporters kept asking questions, which was nothing more than news in magazines.

Qi Zeming took the microphone and said in a deep voice: “The matter about the cancellation of my engagement with my fiance Tian Mi is not true. We have a good relationship, and there are no problems.”

Tian Mi nodded next to Qi Zeming and took the microphone from Qi Zeming: “Thank you very much to everyone who cares about us. Zeming and I really don’t want to cancel our engagement. I am very grateful that he has been by my side over the past few years even though I have become disabled.” As she said that, Tian Mi looked at Qi Zeming affectionately.

In her heart, she admired her acting skills, but she was also disgusted. (T/N: Hold on, baby. We need you to abuse this scumbag!)

“Ding– The male lead’s favorability degree is +10, and the favorability degree is 45. The host is great!”

“So what about the rumors of illegitimate children?” A reporter asked.

“As for the illegitimate child, after I got the news today, I immediately conducted a paternity test with the child. The results showed that the child was indeed mine. Six years ago, I had a relationship with a strange girl because I was drunk. Afterward, I didn’t know who the girl was, nor did I know that the girl was pregnant with my child and gave birth to him. Until today, I didn’t know that I actually had a four-year-old child.” Qi Zeming’s answer was very sincere and straightforward.

Reporter: “Then, will President Qi bring that child back to Qi’s house?”

Qi Zeming nodded: “I will, after all, he is my child. There is no way I will disown him.”

Reporter: “So, what is President Qi going to do with the child’s mother?”

Qi Zeming glanced at Tian Mi and said, “I will give her a fee as child support in the past few years, as well as compensation. As for her secretly giving birth to my Qi family’s child, I will not pursue it for the sake of her being the mother of my child.”

Reporter: “Then Miss Tian, what do you think of President Qi’s illegitimate child?”

“I don’t have any opinion. I support all of Zeming’s decisions. I believe him.” (T/N: Tian Mi: Haha… Listen to my nonsense…)

“Ding– The male lead’s favorability is +10, and the favorability is 55. The host is too awesome!”

Tian Mi started to feel happy that she had become a villain. Look, her favorability score was rising rapidly!

At the end of the press conference, Qi Zeming pushed Tian Mi away, but he was stopped by Jiang Zai, who had just thrown away his bodyguard: “Qi Zeming, how could you do this? Yuanyuan is my son! Why do you separate me from my son?!”
